Ernchibyke: I suppose you are all following the white man's culture of nudity. You all call it modernisation. The people that meet you here on Earth are the ones leading you all to the gallow of perdition. You even threw away your culture for them and continue to dishonor your ancestors. |

Emperor88: That's what the white man made you believe, olodo. So, all Africans were walking naked? It was Africans that brought the first civilized society to the world. It's from there that the white man adopted all its culture. All the ancient European leaders of thought were students in ancient Egypt. The first university in Europe in Salamanca in Spain was built by the (black African) Moors. So, we brought civilization to them, it's not the other way round. Will you even believe if you are told that it was a slave girl from West Africa that taught the Americans how to use injection of a disease causing germ into the body of sick patient as a way to develop immunity against the disease. A practice she claimed they used to do to fight diseases back home from where she was stolen from. That practice is now called vaccination. 1 Like |

Ofodirinwa: With the bolded you are wrong. You can't enter Bobby Benson without complete shirt, trouser, suit with tie. And if you are wearing a native attire it must be complete bubba, soko, agbada with cap. So their dressings were in line with the standard mode of dressing stipulated by hotels and club house in those days. |

ajl:We still have some africans they still walk half naked...you can do your research mumu. Why dId the slave girl not teach her fellow Africans vaccination. And Egypt is not Nigeria or Ghana....They are brown skin not blacks and finally they are Arabians not mum u like you. Yes civilization started in Egypt but never went past the other Arabian African countries. |

michlins: Those statues predate the Europeans and even the Islamic Arabs who arrived centuries before then and who were also clothed and whom we could have learnt from if we hadn't learnt already. Please pay your schoolfees and learn! |

Ignorant people are afraid of the truth for fear of learning what may contradict their entrenched belief. Find out where "Northern Egypt" was. It might surprise you that it was SUDAN! Emperor88: |

Good days have really left...... Those in this pic were educated fellows with good jobs at hands then, they patronize the clubs at the end of the work or weekends and not like now that jobless ones flood the clubs with their unknown source of money. |

michlins:I really can not believe you wrote this. You make yourself sound like baboon before Oyinbo evolved you! michlins:Igbo land is not Nigeria! While you might have been waiting for Europeans to evolve you, Yorubas were well on the way. Islam had arrived with a book and clothes so you can not expect to us to acquire learning and still be walking around naked like you. Most of Nigeria's Muslim population live in the Northern and Central states. Islam was introduced to northern and central Nigeria in the middle ages as early as the 11th century and was well established in the major capitals of the region by the 16th century, spreading into the countryside and toward the Middle Belt uplands. Shehu Usman dan Fodio established a government in Northern Nigeria based on Islam before the advent of European colonialism. |

budaatum:in your opinion, being naked is wrong? It's the natural order to be naked. Evolution gave us clothes but like everything else in this world, we're going back to where we began |

michlins: You are very funny indeed. Do you walk around naked in your own community? There is one like that in mine. When he was young he drank and smoked his inheritance and now can not afford cloth and the ones he's given he doesn't wear. Every so often when he pisses folks off he'll be whipped and chased into the bush he lives in but other times he begs for food. Evolution is not a supplier of manna that "give you clothes" nor does evolution give you anything else in this world. What you do is evolve your mind through learning and then do you sew clothes for yourself. So is it very clearly written!
