Idk what you mean ruling political wise, the past and present governors of kwara state are Yoruba. The last time we had a non Yoruba governor was 1997 Shaba Lafiaji from kwara north patigi LGA, the only problem with Ilorin central people ( biggest LGA in kwara) is religion, they want to be northern so bad, which they can never be. Even the emir of Ilorin cannot speak Fulani but fluent Yoruba.
