I must say the west pushed and provoked russia to this war,everyone knew from time immerorial and Russia had also warned about it that she will not allow Ukraine to join NATO and have US or its allies place their military arsenal at her borders .
People can argue about sovereignty or things like that but for national security ,some countries will not allow certain things near their territory eg , Israel will never allow Iran or any other Arab state close to her reach full nuclear weapons capacity.
Putin has always wanted to invade Ukraine. This whole NATO saga just gave him an excuse. And Ukraine not join NATO wasn't the only condition he gave, he wanted NATO to remove states that joined before 1987(I think) from the alliance (why, so that he can achieve is dream of resurrecting the Soviet Union without any stress). Putin has always wanted war.

Well everybody is supposed to be concerned, but that doesn't mean we won't live our lives. We ought to be concerned becaue if this degenerates to a World War, it's going to affect everyone.
I didn't believe in the so called world war! The European have the style of hyping anything that happens within territory as if it is the whole world .We should not reduce the entire world to this.
We must be an onlooker for their show of extreme shame.

Not unless you are underage you won't understand how war can damage other nations. As you can see if you did check the news, Ukraine military base was targeted and so will they target their source of Internet. If this turns to world war(God forbid) the first thing to target is each powerful nation's power supply and without their power supply there will be no Internet. Then they will target their source of Internet which I am sure lots of countries are using. Ask the owner of this forum where he got his domain from and which country is hosting his domain. The food supply chain will be targeted economy around the globe will affected. Go and check price of gas now and price of crude compare it with previous prices. Know this and know peace. I know, they are of little usefulness to NATO. They were just allowed to join NATO to provoke and poke Russia. Most of the countries in NATO are totally useless militarily. Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Albania lol what a joke.

Look up Poland and WW2

Ukraine is small and not even a member of NATO but they aren't taking it lightly.

Putin has been seeking an opportunity to experiment his military might in a bid to reduce his armament which he's never been tired of stockpiling over the years. Ukraine are just unfortunate this is happening under a fragile and timid Biden who does nothing than speaking "english upandown" without no reasonable action to clampdown on Russian military hegemony. I bet this Putin can't try this with Trump. The military council of the UN should act swiftly.

you guys just talking and talking.....russia is already surrounded. ukraine has a right to join any alliance they want. They are not like minded just like the north and south of this country! the only solution for putin was a diplomatic one but since he is a lunatic he has fallen into their trap! and he will be dealt with! it was common knowledge here even days before that he was gonna declare independent republics! it was no shock they predict his every move and even tell him the time hes gonna attack. he played into their hands and he will regret his stupidity. hes acting on emotions and not sensible strategy!

Your last sentence is what thrills me most. That should be our utmost interest. That have been their approach to any conflicts all over the world - what they stand to gain.
On the issue of gas, maybe this will lead us to self sufficiency.
