The war is not needed. ,Mayor of Kiev has confirmed they have been surrounded by Russian troops and evacuation of civilians is impossible. The mayor of Kharkov has explained to the civilians there the need to negotiate and surrender to the Russian troops in order to save lives. I hope Kiev does same too and just allow this thing to be over once and for all to save lives cos as it is, they are not winning the battle. War is not a good thing. The level of destruction that Ukraine has experienced these few days, is running into billions already.
