Please always remove Lagos in mind whenever u want to refer to yorubas. Lagos is just one of 6 states in the South west. How many ibos are serving in ekiti, ondo, osun, oyo, or ogun govt? Lagos was a capital city for a very long time and home to everyone in nigeria, just like Abuja is becoming now

i once met a VC in one of the Federal universities in the Northern Nigeria, who told me that xtains are too fearful to take some critical decision that can secure their future. He said the school and Nigerian constitution support his decision on who to work with and he did exactly when he assumed office but a xtain VC before him did not do that. When they were making noise,he opened the constitution for all of them to see and he said no going back. i can tell you that no past VC has been able to match his developmental achievement in that school.
