Umahi did very well. But you see the problem of Nigeria and the SE in particular is the problem of leadership. The reason why you see UGM,IPOB,ESN in the bushes and on the street is because of these leaders we have in the east. The truth is that no matter the amount of Infrastructure you build and empowerment you create, you must carry the people along. Every time i talk about the great strides of this man to my friends who are from Ebonyi, though i am from Anambra, they always hiss. it goes deeper than that. The man has placed his personal ambitions over the general interest of the Igbos. even if he wasnt removed by the courts, after he steps down, he would be forgotten immediately.

But if these same people wan protest against bad governance them go call police for them. Only when it favours them. Smh

Dave Umahi has done well for his state but I don't expect him to look desperate for power again, he's been 8years as Deputy Governor, 7years plus as Governor and a performing one for that matter, he has 90days to appeal the case he should just do the needful and stop behaving as if he has lost the case already.

A judgement filed at the Appeal Court does not Stay or "put on hold" a judgement of the High Court.

Only a Stay of Execution can secure that.

He was ill advised , if he has stayed in PDP, woulda been easy for him to blackmail PDP to give him ticket on the ground of good performance and Igbo presidency but he ran faster than his shadow.
