Great, this is the type of news we should be getting on front page.
I hope there will also remember to dredge river Niger and Benue at the confluence in lokoja one day soon. Goodluck's government approved that project long time ago.

Lekki deep sea port
Dangote Refinery lekki.

What manner of town planners do we have in lagos?

10 years from now lekki, Banana Island and co will all be like a modern Ajegunle.

The heat from the refinery alone, not to talk of the envisaged traffic mess, living in Eko Atlantic won't be fun either with all these industries

********
An Airport is been planned too, that axis is sure gonna be Ajegunle 100times

When you have vision and also go for it, this is what you get. Thumbs to the continuity in government. Lagos is working for real...... Not only center of excellence but also pace setter.

They said this port will generate about 360bn. But I don't see Nigeria's economy improving despite the port and dangote refinery, I see looters continuing to loot, I see the improvished masses killing themselves to support them.

This I have seen.

While the seaports in Calabar, port Harcourt, and warri will remain comatose. No worries, gradually we will get there.

That's the difference between federal govt spoonfed overhaul places and selfhelp single handedly developed eastern society. The okoros are advancing without been strictly dependent to Nigeria. The only part of Nigeria with true local content

.
Eko Atlantic has nothing to do with lekki Sea port and refinery. They are at different locations entirely. Sea port and Refinery are at ibeju lekki around FTZ area, while Atlantic city is at Victoria Island, around Kuramo / Bar Beach area.

The only issue with Ibeju might be environmental pollution from the refinery, which we hope the LASG / FG won't compromise and set proper regulations with effective monitoring. Other than that, ibeju lekki is a fantastic area with massive beach line across the city. It's a shoreline to the Atlantic Ocean. They can't feel any heat. The breeze from the ocean alone keeps that place ventilated and cool.

I will advise anyone that has the money, buy plenty land at Ibeju Lekki axis now, that place is going to be explosive for real estate value, like 10000% appreciation in a few short years. It's going to be the new goldmine in Lagos. They are building another Int'l airport there too.
