He wasn't even massively voted for. Check the results. He won narrowly through the votes of the few who fell for his emotional message.

Very good

Obaseki must teach you fools pepper, starting from the foolish Edo people who voted him, the blockheads in PDP who helped him and Governors who gave him ticket.

If Obaseki could throw his Political Father Oshiomhole under the Bus

It was only a matter of time before Obaseki threw all those PDP Officials who rescued him and his voters who voted him in as Gov under the same Bus

Get your facts straight before you argue. Here is the result on INEC website:
https://inecnigeria.org/edo-state-governorship-election-2020-result/
He scored 58% and his opponent got 42% which was a difference of just 74,000+ votes. So how does that amount to him beating his opponent by 40%?

Many people saved obaseki including amaechi, atiku and even his vp shiabu worked for him to win the elections. Why should wike feel more important than others to rubbish him or other people??

U helped Sm1 doesn’t mean they are u slaves. Have common sense. That is the problem the Nigerian politics. We lack strong institutions bt rely on Godfather behaviors.
Why feign ignorance of the details of the issue? Wike's help was open and more intense than those of all these others you mentioned. In addition, Wike is not playing any godfather over Obaseki. This godfatherism narrative of Obaseki is already stale as the world can now see that he only uses it to excuse his non-performance, greed and desire to dominate. Now that there is supposedly no godfather figure over him in Edo State, go take a tour around the state and see for yourself the stagnation, spate of abandoned projects, spate of deterioration of the few roads he did in his first term, insecurity on account of his refusal to, despite receiving security vote regularly, pay salaries to members of the Edo Vigilantee Force which he himself set up, and numerous other failures. Even Wike's current remarks that he is an MOU governor is an attestation to his non performance. It took him six years to complete a motor park. Gelegele Seaport promise is a closed chapter, no single harvest so far from the Usugbenu and Sobe Settlement Farms he sank over N3bn into since 2017. These were the things he was questioned about by his former party and he capitalized on the gullibility and simple mindedness of some ignorants to allege an attempt at controlling him. But God so kind, most of those who fell for that cheap lie are now in regret as kidnapping, bad roads, armed robbery, have become their lots in addition to them being levied by their home communities towards recruitment of teachers and security guards for the primary and secondary schools in their localities.
Then what Wike is particularly miffed at is the fact that despite conceding both governor and vice to the new PDP at the point of their entry, after election, Obaseki gave all political appointments to his new PDP caucus in defiance of the earlier agreement which Wike was witness to. As if that is not enough, he proceeded to start asking to have party executive positions shared between the new and old PDP after he himself refused to share appointments with old PDP. Where on earth does that happen? Put yourself in Wike's shoes and see if you would tolerate half of that. It was exactly the same thing he did in APC and got sent out.

Is it that bad ?
That monicker didn't even capture it very well. Visit Obaseki's official Facebook page and you will see those who voted for him regretting openly on his wall. What his social media handlers now do is to keep deleting comments because most of those commentators express regrets voting him for a second term.

Ipob pigs supported Oshiomhole because they wanted to get back at Oshiomhole. Today, Edo people are regretting allowing idiots mislead them.

Bashirudeen my ewedu muslim friend. How many rotten human skulls do you have under your smelly bed in oshogbo?

So 58% - 42% = 16% and not 20%. Now by what kind of Arithmetic is 16% same as the 40% you earlier claimed?

This thread is between Wike and Obaseki. The person Amaechi originally had issues with was Jonathan and not Wike who only came into the fight to support Jonathan.

Insightful.

NOTE:
Gelegele River Port is on the Benin River, so it is a River Port NOT a Seaport.

Aside from the Lekki Deep Seaport
which is the first and ONLY Nigerian Seaport, all other ports from Lagos to Calabar are River Ports because they are located
on Rivers.

Those rivers in question are all direct arms of the sea.
