ASUU has been reduced to pepper soup joint gossip.

The funding for the railway has not even been secured yet.

If FG have 5 trillion do you think they will use 1 trillion out of it to sort ASUU?

Education is not FG priority and ASUU demand is not on FG top list...

Who else has noticed that all those zombie monikers are hardly seen online anymore especially the vulture meat BBQGRILLS guy.

Buhari's personal interest in Chad, Niger Republic (his original home) and oil exploration in the North East has cost the country so much in 7 years.

Our lawmakers go home every month with millions of Naira, yet there is no money.. Every ministry gulps millions of dollars through corruption and fake budgets, Efcc and NDLEA always recover billions of Naira from offenders, yet we don't see the money. We need a leader that can step on toes and get things right. People should be sacked in the ministeries for corruption and incompetence, corrupt police/military/paramilitary personnels should be sacked to set example for others. Delaying of Justice should stop, that's why people pretend to collapse during trial.. imagine you no collapse when you de do crime but you wan collapse when you de receive judgement. We need to start afresh, with the right leaders.

Just call off the strike let our children resume school. We all know the railway you are referring to is being built on credit with a loan from China.

So that they can transport Cow through it bah? Wetin else Buhari and Northerners Sabi apart from Cow? How much you de buy fuel for your side? Education was dead and buried the moment a man without further education was voted as president!

You put somebody whose highest qualification was a doctored WAEC result and you think his priority will be university education?

A country were university graduates supported an illiterate to power; tell me now… who are the real illiterates?!

Intellectual illiterates - OgbeniDipo, Japhet Omojuwa, Chude Jideonwo, Debola Lagos, MannaGrills ( not an intellectual but still morally illiterate), SimplyLeo, Morgstreme ( this one will insult his father)

i hope you know that the bolded is not true. China don't roll like that. It's either they build and control till they are done recovering the loan, or they just give you the loan for you to use it by yourself. China already granted the loan, and our Government chose that project before going for that loan.

Another alternative is for ASUU members to quit their jobs if they are not satisfied rather than contributing to the decay in the university system.

The only way Nigerian educational system can improve is when we start having teachers who teach for the love of passing knowledge and this holds for all grades and level of educational institution, both from the primary to university level. These sets of lecturers we have now are so greedy that they can do anything to make money, even going as far as compromising their integrity and stooping so low as to collect bribes from student to pass them. I do not trust their motive as i have seen Prof Oorimogunje and Prof Ogunkoya of OAU Geography dept gone on to have very fulfilling careers and these two Profs you can tell are into it for the love of it. Since the advent of yahoo boys with cars on campus these lecturers have taken to persistent strike actions in a bid to force government to meet their demands and i can't help but wonder if they are trying to compete with these yahoo boys? If these lecturers think at all, they will know the country is in shambles right now economically and government meeting their demands at once will further plunge the country into untold hardship with the current increment in nearly all commodities by greedy Nigerians. ASUU should just call of it's strike action and dialogue with federal gov't as they can't bully Buhari into meeting their senseless demands. Before you criticize me go to any institution seek out 10 lecturers and ask them how they truly feel about the strike and you will find out at least 1 doesn't support the strike because they miss teaching. The students are the ones affected here not Federal Government.
they miss teaching on empty stomach right?.and in a poor dirty environment, outdated laboratories?.

Most sensible comment! Don't mind them they behave as if University Lecturers are the only people in the country. They should because of them not build on the infrastructure. Selfish people!

“The government said there is no money but they have money for elections. Between education and election, which one is much more important? They constructed a railway from Kaduna to Niger Republic, is that more important than education?

Education is dead and buried in Nigeria
A BIG yes railway and elections are more important
A single railway line can generate revenue that will fund education but education cannot fund railway only shape it. D present education in Nigeria cannot add any value 4 nw because d lecturers bias towards good education
Without elections there will b no government.
So d two are more important
