Russia never wanted NATO expansion to her borders but the foolish Ukrainian government went against the agreement they had with Russia after WW2,never to join NATO and allow its eastward expansion.But Russia, the West and Ukraine had a series of talks with little or no result on the issue of NATO and preventing its expansion to Russia's borders.Duration that time,Russia was amassing military troops near Ukraine's border in readiness for combat, should Ukraine break the agreement.

I know he can't win a nuclear war against NATO, but what happens to the human race afterwards? Polluted waters and land...have you watched the documentary on the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombs. No one wants to practically find the capability of either side's arsenal or the potential aftereffects of a nuclear war. Everyone needs to stay level headed. Carrot and & stick should go a long in resolving this issue.

To some extent you say? Well maybe you are right, yes, we might not experience a direct hit. But the ripple effects are better imagined. Economies of the world are intertwined, and as evident with the skyrocketing cost of all sort of products as a result of the ongoing war in Ukraine, imagine the impact of a full blown war in Europe. And considering we have in quantum clueless leaders, and countries that relies majorly on imports, it is going to be catastrophic.

And remember, despite being an oil producing country, we still import virtually all the refined petroleum products we consume are imported. International waters on whose corridor these goods gets to Africa will be shut against cargoes, because war ships and submarines will take it over. Cost of things triples, no monies to pay salaries as African govts won't be able to make money, the people will start protesting, the military will take over the streets, and all hell will break loose. I can keep going on and on.
