Unfortunately, it is true.

They are humans too who face the same temptations as humans.

However, it is expected of a pastor to have died to dictates of his flesh and continue to die daily.

Not just pastors only but all serious Christians.

Sexual temptation is such a serious one that needs a lot of strict measures and standards to keep at bay.

No one however, should glory in his ability to stay chaste as a pastor, it is the grace of God.

For me that I have fell a few times. It is mercy and grace that I need.

This shouldn't be a topic to debate about, some people have used the name of God to achieve and actuallize their selfish desires but the gullible one's have made themselves to be their prey, but God is still God he changeth not.

I treat fellow men as fellow men irrespective of their spiritual or social status. This makes me apply logic when I deal with them.

For example, I won't leave my girl child alone with a male pastor simply because he is a pastor

Let me drop 3 truths for you.

1. The answer to your question is YES!!!!
2. It's not only pastors in Nigeria but worldwide. Infact Religious leaders and charismatic fellows have been known to use the reverence placed on them to exploit men and women for their sexual pleasure.
3. They are a minority or this is a very rare thing. But when they're exposed it's so scandalous and headline worthy that you'd think they are everywhere or every pastor is engaged in it.

U damned right about number 2 but their exploitation isn't limited to sexual pleasure. Most of it is the financial gain at d end. Pastors don't care about their members. They only care about what the members can help them achieve.

I might not totally agree with ur Number 3. Pastors are good at covering up& members are good at not challenging or asking questions so u might think it's in the minority

If Bank Managers have sex with their female workers
If Teachers/ Lecturers have sex with their students
If business owners have sex with their employees

Years back I once worked at one hotel in Benin,and there's this particular pastor who usually comes all the way from Asaba.A very popular and well respected man of God.
The norm is that his MISTRESSES will come ahead of him,and lodge in his rooms(Villa),He uses the villa cuz its more private and detached from the main hotel building. meanwhile his MISTRESSES (2 ladies) do come from warri.
