Dangote will not pay tax to the government because the fertilizer and refinery complex is sitting on a free trade zone. Manufacturing companies on a free trade zone are exempted from tax. The only benefit is the dollar remittances and also the humongous amount of forex the government is wasting to import PMS into the country will stop once dangote refinery comes on stream.
