The fact that the doomed ship sent out a distress signal hours before sinking shows the Russian defense ministry was lying.

If the fire was truly localized and the ship was buoyant, the sailors won't send an open SOS, they'd communicate encrypted messages to mother Russia.

Ukraine claimed to fire a cruise missile and after it hit the Russian ship, it only started fire onboard while the ship did not sink and the outside of the ship was not damaged. Yet mumu people believed that story. Please go and read about cruise missiles before you come here to hail Ukraine. By the way, American ships have caught onboard fire too. Such mistakes happen.
