Precisely. It taked quite a high degree of bitterness envy, covetousness, hatred, spite and bad intention to deny the indisputable contribition of Tinubu towards the emergence of modern Lagos post 1999.

Especially relating to a people who have done well from relocating to Lagos from their native SE since Tinubu too over and since the politcal fortunes of their States completely tanked under atrociously bad leadership.

Tinubu is a Party boss from ACN to APC so he is a kingmaker responsible for ensuring his Party win and control more States through their Governors

He is therefore obligated to help candidates become Governors but cannot control their policies and competence or lack thereof.

Indeed and they have a reputation for this worldwide. Would you believe Ghanaians, Kenyans, South Africans etal now know the difference in attitude and behavior between "difficult" Igbos and other Nigerians?

Highly disruptive and divisive people who become even more so once they cannot get a controlling stake wherever they migrate to.

Lagos is a former capital, the British developed Lagos, Ports and international airport gave Lagos advantages, Edos own and developed Lagos, Marwa should be 100% credited with the look of Lagos today and similar utter garbage and shameless dishonesty.

In a recent campaign speech Tinubu spoke of how they used to pick up many dead bodies from the Streets and how they improved the security of lagos, through improved crime fighting, to eradicate that deplorable situation on ground in 1999.

This is something every Lagosian above age 8 in 1999 can confirm as well !! In fact many of us remember as very small children how rampant and scary armed robberies and home invasions were then with robbers even writing Lagosians to warn of their coming and the expected compliance they expected to meet!!!

Tinubu changed all that with many measures to include the RRS Rapid Response Service specialized unit of the NPF!!!

When directly transformational achievement are this many, plus so easy to quantify and verify, it is obvious the special bitterness and envy in the soul of the average Igbo that they remain the only ethnic group daily trying to deny Tinubu of credit and his merited legacy as the father of modern Lagos.
