Lamanii22:
When there was no internet there was access to vcd porn…. Some of my friends had it in their house, they would bring it over to another of our friend’s whose parents are not always around, we would all watch it… but I never practiced lol, I have this fear in my heart and maybe cause I have a strict mom but I watched porn at a younger age…..
The worse thing that happened to me when watching vcd porn then was when NEPA take light in the Night. Mhen I stayed awake through out the night to ensure NEPA bring light to eject it out even till morning I didn't go to my place of engagement back then.
I knew if I didn't eject it out and when they bring light my mum or dad or elder wanted to play film and first play the vcd porn I knew I would be in trouble
I would just pack my load and leave because the the torment I would have received I will would have have felt it now or still be feeling it now

"men are always the evil ones in the eyes of society"
If you'd can please replace society with men. Instead it should read, men are always the evil ones in the eyes of men.
This is because it's is men that jump first to start calling for heads to roll when they hear rape or anything sexual.

Men are the problem of men.

HardMirror:
1. Are children of these days worse than the older generation?

I see a lot of myopic comments claiming the world has spoil finish. This is not true. Underage children has been engaging in stupid things from the days of Adam and Eve. Children that grew up in an environment where they learned about sex early always end up having sex early. When I was still in Primary school in the 1990s, I knew some of my classmates who where already sexually active and I attended one of the best schools in Jos.

The problem is the internet only makes it easier for children these days to get access to porn and things that corrupt them. Children will always do stupid things it is not a new thing or a big deal sef. They are children and need guidance.

Many of us judging these kids 2ould have used our phones to watch porn if we had smart phones back in our days too. Children are curious and porn would interest them.

2. Private Schools with wahala.
This Is another short sighted thought people are propagating. They think private schools are terrible in management.
They are talking of Dowen collage cultism and now chrisland issue. They say private schools are over rated. Well, they are wrong. If any child trusts you and tells you what happens in their schools, You will fear god.

Secondary school girls are doing runs in public schools and all their classmates know
The boys are doing yahoo.
They have cults too. Infact cultism from secondary school is very very old especially public schools.

3. Only girls are victims
people have been one sided judging matters always against the males. If not for the video leak, many Nigerians were already out calling for the heads of the boys. Women know they can always get public sympathy and they are abusing it. They are using it unduly to revenge and hurt people they dont like. They cry rape when they need to deal with a man. Is it not a possibility that it was the girl that initiated the truth or dare game? Do we even know if it was the girl that initiated sex with those boys? We dont have these answers yet people jumped into conclusion and many even insisted that the girl must have been drugged by the boys because they believe only boys can be bad. Girls are always good

4. Where did we go wrong?
Humans have always been bad, humans would always make bad life decisions. Children particularly would do things that are wrong because that is how children are. Exposure to social media is not helping them, giving them mobile phones is not helping, movies, music are all confusing them.

The worst influence on these girls are Ladies. You ladies always twerking online, always taking suggestive videos. The only thing you do on tick tok is dance and twerk. You sexualize every picture you take even pictures you take in church. The younger girls begin to develop the wrong mindset that sex is the most important thing most of you girls cannot take a picture without emphasizing your butt or boobs.
. The reason why I focused on women towards the end is because there is this assumption that it is men that sexually expose children. The moment a child is discovered to be sexually adventurous, the public begins to ask that all the men in the family including the dad of the child be suspected. This has been the way it has been for ages, men Are always the evil ones in the eyes of the society. That is why the mum of the chrisland girl came out to play the same old rape card instead of addressing the moral delinquency issue of the children involved

Our grand parents failed our parents, so ours failed us and we are about to fail the next generations too. Until parents are persecuted for negligence we won't get anywhere....If the parents of the Dowen child had listened to the boy he wouldn't have died.... If parents stop shifting their duties to religious leaders we would have a safer society...How does a 10 year old have access to a tik tok account without the parents knowing

It's just so sad that inspite of how objective and realistic you are, you drew the line at the genders, and with women.

No wahala. I have taken the sense I will take from this and discarded the rest.

eOP though the world has always been a terrible place, it is now getting worse,
hthanks to social media and general decadence of societal values.

When you were in primary school, was olosho a job people were proud of? Were people flaunting Yahoo wealth? How many gay people did you know?

The world is on a free fall, we can only do our best to mitigate the effects on our kids.

May God help us.

exactly. We are all sexually curious from as early as 8years old, but because of discipline a lot of use stayed away or were afraid to act on the bad thoughts we had. They are making it seem this generation are worse than ours but they forgot they thought this young generation the bad things they do

Hmmm.....

The sooner we understand that God made us all as sexual creatures, the better for us.

Nobody can conceal or repress their sexuality for too long unless thoroughly disciplined.

That's why children should be taught the dangers of premarital sex once they reach accountability.

You're very right things are really bad in Western countries.
On quora one of the American men i follow write an answer, and in that answer he made it known that, girls as thing as 12 years were allowed to get abortions without parental consent in the city where he lives, Chicago.

abbey621:
I'M SORRY BUT I'VE GOT SOME BAD NEWS! Compare the Nigerian society to that of those in South Africa, USA, England, France etc, you'll discover that what we've seen so far is childsplay, what is coming is too big for my mouth to say!

With great power, comes even greater responsibilities. With great advancements comes even greater temptation, kids ages 10 are now having their own mobile phones, most are on social media, some even have Tik Tok. Meanwhile parents are working more hours, they are constantly stressed and depressed, many hardly see their kids for more than 2 hours during weekdays, so what did we think would happen?

You can't eat your cake and have it, wither do your best and pray to God that your kids turn out okay or sacrifice by monitoring them left, right, up and down but also praying that you didn't miss anything. All in all, na by the grace of God kids nowadays remain mentally and physically stable, I'm afraid the WORST IS YET TO COME!

Let us stop pretending Parents fail the younger generation and God! Don't blame any private school, they only give parents what they want, can you imagine schools organizing beauty penguins, fashion parade, dancing competition and you know the music they play.
Parents bought phone for primary and secondary school students, children watch anyhow films and also watch what their parents and the so called aunties are doing what do you expect these to give birth to? Angel? We must be joking!

This has been the way it has been for ages, men Are always the evil ones in the eyes of the society. That is why the mum of the chrisland girl came out to play the same old rape card instead of addressing the moral delinquency issue of the children involved

So many things are contributing to the high rate of immorality amongst our children and students.

1. Parental failure. The Bible says that we should train up our children in the ways of the Lord so that when they grow up, they will not depart from it. How many parents do this? Most parents themselves are living ungodly lives before the watchful eyes of their children. So, what do they expect the children to become?

2. Single parenting. This is another cause often overlooked. But it affects the children. Children raised by a single mother alone cannot be as disciplined as that raised by responsible parents. There are of course a few exemptions to this. There are some single mothers who have successfully raised up their kids. But most find it difficult because of financial challenges.

3. The Church. The church also has a share in the blame. There are compromises in messages in most of our churches today. Morals are hardly taught. Just sweet messages and prophecies to draw crowd.

Besides, how often do churches go to schools to reach out to these students with the gospel? Most won't do it because it is not financially rewarding. How much offering will students give will be in the mind of greedy ministers who only see ministry as opportunity to make money.

4. The School. There are schools that don't care about the moral lives of the students. Even the owners are occultic people. They do not have morning devotion in such schools. Even when they do, the scriptures are hardly read. Teachers they employ are perverts. Don't send your children to just any school. Find out if they impact spiritual knowledge to the students.

5. Technology. This has also helped to influence our children negatively. You become what you behold over time. Years back, there was nothing like mobile phone talk more of smart phones. Now, they have access to both good and evil things happening around the world. When you keep watching twerking videos, very soon, you too will start twerking. It's not wise to give a smart phone to an underaged child.

6. Bad Friends. The scripture says that evil communication corrupt good manners. It matters who your friends are. Parents should monitor who the friends of their children are.

7. Boarding schools. This is another environment most children get corrupt. They learn all sorts of stupid things there. Avoid sending your children to boarding schools if you don't want them to be corrupt.
