Things don't end when a couple splits up. In the end, things either fade away or they wind up getting back together as a result of constant communication and seeing one other.

To get back together after a breakup, both parties need to be willing to do so and this isn't always the case. Here are some telltale signals that your ex still has romantic feelings for you and is just waiting for you to take the next step.

1. He Left His Things at Your Place and Isn’t in a Hurry to Pick Them Up.

In the end, women want a guy to mean what he's saying when he breaks things up with them. After the split, they're typically perplexed when he continues to leave a large number of his belongings at their home for weeks or even months.

Personal items such as documents, spare keys, and other valuables can be included in this category. Clothing and electric toothbrushes are examples of lesser, less vital items.

So if you still have things from your ex around the house, know that he didn't just leave them there.

By leaving things as they are, he is giving himself the illusion that you two are still connected in some way, which offers him a "emotional feeling of security."

You should take this as a warning sign that he still has feelings for you and is watching to see where you really stand and what you plan to do.

2. He Still Has Your Things at His Place and Isn’t Trying to Give Them Back.

The fact that he's storing your belongings isn't an accident, just like when he left his items at your house.

That he hasn't remembered or cared to make arrangements to return them all isn't the case.

Keeping your things is an even greater'security' to him! This gives him a sense of belonging to you, and it ensures that he will see you at least once more in the future.

It's a safe bet that he's keeping your belongings because he wants you back, but he won't confess it!

3. He Keeps on Texting or Calling You as Though You Were Still Together.

So many of you have told me about another classic behavior: a guy breaking up with you but acting as if you were still together.

This could entail regular communication via text and phone, as well as setting up meetings or dates with you.
