The Soviet Union was like a mini continent, those countries in it knows their territories.

The former Soviet Union's case is like that of Nigeria, different tribes living together in one country.

Now, Ukraine is a country of its own with a world recognized defined territory & sovereignty.If the Russians living in Ukraine don't like the system of government in Ukraine, they should relocate back to Russia the country of their origin.
