Is this what our lecturers are doing shifting goal post , ASUU has better changed into a pressure group ? I think I have to agree with the minister on this one , ASUU members are still receiving their salary, still lecturing locally and internationally yet they are on strike. Why can't they accept the system they agreed to initially with the government? What changed ? Look at ASUU saying the strike is a last resort whereas they take it as mandatory annual leave . With the way ASUU is going a serious government will have no choice than to make universities source their own revenue independently and we know what that will mean for the masses .
