odilibe: If you check a Satellite Tranpsonder it may state as broadcasting on multistream modulation and multiple mpeg4/2 transport streams ...one frequency can have upto 4 independent streams that is stream 1, stream 2 stream 3 and stream 4...each stream having different channels, where the receiver have to do upto 4 scans on same frequency to extract this channels.....

There is one multistream broadcast on intelsat 22 c band..others are mostly europe satellite beams or eutelsat 12 west A at 12.5west you need bigger dish size for this...

why are broadcasting on multistream self, apart from this mbc can u use that multistream decoder to do any other thing good, or they just want us to waste our money going for multistream decoder, let me ask what is good about MBC?, for me apart from live football match, there is no any channel that is good, for me to like any channel they must be showing live football match, thats why i like RDV tv, oromia tv, and tv madagascar etc, cos they show live foot at times. I arest my case.

Note that..multistream receivers can track any frequency aside from multistream including Dvbs/Dvbs2/VCM..etc...more channel capacity per frequency one frequency can handle up to 4 independent stream!...

Now that the MBC stations on 7W have been changed to that sports bouquet, is there really anything worthwhile on the west side to warrant investing in a Dish for West Side (other than IRIB anyway)?


By the way, i'm still wondering why HH motors for 90CM dish is still so unpopular........ i really need to get one so if anyone can hook me up i'd appreciate

Why do u still need HH motor while people are constructing local neck for 90cm? I personally install one for a client with jack and positioner

No need for the curiosity. People track Arabsat 20e cos of the 2 sports channels. If you want entertainment go to Amos 5ku/Eutelsat 16a
