Why can't SE govt come together and solve this issue once and for all.is it that they enjoy the insecurity in the region that's why they are playing ostrich to it.. They should bring in foreign mercenaries just like GEJ did with BH to solve stop this rampaging Gunmen and at same time work with Interpol in arresting their leaders abroad

The people contributed by showing so much fear. Imagine every trader and artisan coming out to their jobs daily...how will those miscreants attack all of them or enforce sit-at-home when everyone is out there doing their jobs?

Even government officials were hiding and overwhelmed with fear. Obiano was a total disaster. We can see what Soludo is doing already to get the people out there, and salvage the economy.

The question is, how many people dey ESN compared to the entire populace of the Southeast? Before now, we bin dey call Yoruba people 'fear fear'. I don confirm say we Igbos fear pass Yoruba people.

You won't believe that before the Anambra governorship election of November 2021...just say friends and family hear say I wan storm Anambra for the election, dem almost get heart attack. But I stood my ground, I was there live and took part in the elections that brought in Soludo. You needed to be there in Anambra, it was deserted. Fear wan kill them.

Obiano tried by telling everyone to come out. He even visit market in akwa to rally people out. But everyone dey fear.

Those guys are armed. Don't underestimate someone that is armed most especially a miscreant.

Why did you think Army, Airforce, police etc is feared in the society. It is because they are armed.

You need someone that is armed to fight a criminals that is armed. That why Army and police is there. The governors should make use of it. They should not be collecting security votes money and be doing nothing.

IPOB lists ‘unknown gunmen’ terrorising South-East, declares them wanted

Do not support Unknown gun; men they are anti Biafrans paid by the terrorists Nigerian government and there indigenous warrant chiefs governors to sabotage Biafra .

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has exonerated itself from allegations of terrorism, killings, and other criminal activities in the South-East.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, the group said it had uncovered the unknown gunmen or fake members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) causing mayhem in the region.

It listed the individuals
as “One Nigeria,” “Sky from Umutanze” “2men from Umuna,” “Wasara,” “Commander from Amagu,” “Gezek,” “Akiriko Atta,” “No one,” “Double Lion” and “Uru.”

IPOB also declared the criminals wanted and promised monetary rewards
for anybody with information on their hideouts.

The statement read: “These people mentioned above are behind the criminalities going-on in these communities including kidnapping, car snatching and rape.

“IPOB is hereby declaring them wanted, and anybody who can give useful information about them will get handsome reward.

“These vampires are forcing the residents to buy them guns or give them money to continue with their barbaric activities.

“These are hoodlums recruited by corrupt politicians and security agencies to demonise IPOB, and now they are out of their control. They carry out this evil act right from 12:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. daily.

“Again, the fake self-acclaimed ESN operatives terrorising Orlu province of our land should be brought to book. They are also part of the killings, kidnappings and rapes going on in that vicinity.

“These criminals mentioned have done a lot of damage to our people living in Orlu area of Imo State. IPOB has always told the public that the above-mentioned hoodlums are part of the criminalities going on in our land.

No criminal should be allowed to demonise IPOB. These agents of darkness and their sponsors should be brought to book to pay for their atrocities.”

The Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa severally and individually outnumber the Fulani several times over. So, how have the Fulani, one of the smallest ethnic groups in Nigeria been able to almost conquer and subjugate these larger ethnic groups in Nigeria? Are they more educated than them? No. Do they have more scientists and inventors? No. Do they have superior war machine? No. Are they superior in number of potential soldiers? No. So, what has made it possible for them to virtually overrun and subjugate these other ethnic groups in Nigeria? One thing and one thing only. They figured out how to manipulate these ethnic groups, make them fight each other while the Fulani sit back reap the spoils after the ethnic groups must have decimated one another. In this art of manipulation and deceit they use two carrots – Religion (Islamization) and Money. They use these two interchangeably depending on the situation. Their ultimate goal (the spoil accruing to them from these wars) is control of political power with which they steal all your resources, enslave you and now want to Islamize you. In 1804 Othman Dan Fodio deceived the leadership of each Hausa State into believing that he wanted to establish a pure form of Islam. He then recruited soldiers from one Hausa State to attack and fight another Hausa State. The Hausa States fought, weakened, and decimated one another. Othman Dan Fodio then established the Sokoto Caliphate, crowned himself Caliph, appointed Fulani people Emirs to impose autocratic rule over each Hausa State. The Emirs were accountable only to Othman Dan Fodio and possessed the power of life and death over the subjects of the conquered Hausa State. The Hausa States lost their freedom, liberty, and self-rule and were treated as slaves. The parasitic Fulani having engulfed the Hausa States now transmuted into the Hausa-Fulani and adopted the Hausa language as the lingua franca.

Igbos are like palm trees in the desert. If you see palm trees, you know water is there. If you see an Igbo in a town, you know progress is there. Not as if they go where progress is. They themselves are seed of progress that yield harvests of progress.

To have a proper understanding of what the Igbo have achieved, consider that every Igbo man, woman and child in Nigeria was reduced to £20 after the civil war in 1970. But look at how far they have come since then. They turned adversity to prosperity.

No ethnic group are as Nigerian as the Igbo. An Igbo builds his family, his house and his businesses in whatever part of Nigeria he finds himself. They do not exploit other regions. They expand other regions. It is a disservice to treat them as unwanted.

Instead of making Igbos feel unwelcome, leaders should welcome them. Anyone who thinks the Igbo really want to break away does not understand economics. In 2003, Elrufai revealed Igbos own 73% of land in Abuja. Google it. That is commitment to Nigeria.

This idea that Igbo come to exploit other regions is unscientific. Igbos create value. They do not take value already created. Example, by opening shops, Igbos create value by meeting a need. Without Igbo, the price of spare-parts in the North will be x4.

It might shock you to know there are more Igbo doctors practicing in other parts of Nigeria than in the SE. Thousands of Igbos are battling Boko Haram in the NE. These are critical values. People who bring such value should be celebrated, not denigrated.

In my opinion, Nigeria made a mistake dismantling Biafra’s military industrial complex after Biafra’s 1970 defeat. The allies defeated Germany in 1945 but absorbed their scientists into their military industrial complex.

Biafra developed technology that Nigeria could have exploited. We have issues fighting Boko Haram because we depend on others for weapons. Biafra was surrounded, yet they made their weapons and refined fuel. Nigeria is not surrounded, yet we cannot make weapons or refine fuel! We could have been making our own weapons by now.

They'll never engage you on this since it appear to be sensible way out of the lacuna. They've been hypnotized into romanticizing violence and war. Their consciences have been thought to ignore the bodies dropping, the environmental instability, socioeconomic losses etc as "necessary sacrifices" to achieving their breakaway dreams.
They do not see that their lands weep and convulse violently as one held in the throes of raging fevers. These ones online typing the retorts and insulting one-liners, tell them to ask friends who, back home, have lost fathers, brothers, sisters, mothers etc to this ill thought-out approach. Tell them to ask those ones how they feel now. They won't have to much to say beyond regrets and confusion.

These lazy cats on here know that but because it's not happened to them yet they keep staring into the eyes of the hungry cobra of war. They keep bend their eyes ever closer to catch the whispered songs of conflict merchants. They do not realize that in every society there are never-do-wells who often pray for and work on temporary social unrest to become full-blown breakdowns of social order so they, as closet anarchists, can emerge as self-styled "fighters" of sorts who would profit from the dystopia created.
For telling them to take things easy, you're their enemy, I'm their enemy. Well, let's keep watching. Soon enough, we'll all see who the real enemy is.
