I don't think so....Atiku should be afraid of Osinbajo...... the entire southwest will vote for him.....more than half of the south south will vote for him . Southeast might vote for him, because of the way Pdp treated them. Half the middle belt will vote for him....

It's Commonsense. Asiwaju's campaign was even started by the Northwest and he has over 200 support Groups there. The Northwest does not even like Atiku but they believe they owe Asiwaju the Presidency.

The only Southerner the North can trust is Asiwaju. Others will not get 30% in the North. Many Northerners want Nigeria to remain as one but they will only vote for a Southerner who associates with them like MKO and Jagaban. Indeed PDP fear Jagaban and would prefer a weak Osinbajo or Amachie.

Atiku in 2014 APC primary election couldn't buy the APC delegates with all his dollars. Jagaban outsmarted him and he came a distance third.

In 2019 PDP primary election, Atiku bought all the PDP delegates with his dollars and defeated Wike in Port Harcourt.

In 2022 PDP primary election, the same Atiku bought all the PDP delegates with his dollars and like Ganduje said Wike will be a good loser when Wike visited him.

SWAGA needs to see Tinubu's performance in the last election before claiming that Atiku is afraid of him. Buhari that almost lost to Atiku is whom a small fry Tinubu he should be afraid of.
Even Ahmed Lawan can't stand Atiku politically. The truth is that currently Atiku is the most formidable political figure from the North, if anyone knows any other politician from the North eligible to contest for President in 2023 that can beat Atiku in a free and fair contest, they should name that person. Tinubu's problem is that he is going into the election from a divided region of the South. There are more PDP supporters in the entire South than there are APC supporters. All Atiku needs is a very acceptable Southerner as VP.
North will also never abandon Atiku for Bola Tinubu, Tamuwal has given Southern politicians the clue of what is to come.

It will be very difficult for a Southerner to defeat Atiku. He is a strong force, it was widely believed that he even defeated Buhari in 2019, but for the power of incumbency. I just keep wondering who the APC would present as its flagbearer, that person was really be a 'strong' man.
