A young Nigerian man has been caught red-handed in an attempt to p0is0n his friend.

In the video fast trending on social media, the man wearing a black shirt and trousers could be seen sitting on the floor wearing regret all over his face.

According to reports, the young man before trying to put p0is0n in his friend's food waited for him to excuse himself to use the restroom.

As soon as his friend left, he poured something into his friend's drink and sat back as if everything was fine.

Unfortunately, he got caught by someone while p0is0ning the drink but kept quiet as he observed what he could do.

A lot of social media users have reacted to the video with a section advising people to be careful about people they call friends.

Old news. This happened in October last year at Shoprite Festac Town. I was there with my sister and her family to celebrate her daughter’s birthday when the incident happened.
Someone who was withdrawing money at the ATM stand saw the guy putting something in a drink. The drink belonged to his friend ( the person putting the poison) who went to ease himself. The guy at the ATM stand confronted the guy putting the poison and he raised alarm which made people to gather. His friend who went to the toilet unaware of what was happening was shocked when he was told his friend put something in his drink.
The culprit was whisked away by security and no one knew what happened later
