It’s not even about how cheap it is to live in Nigeria, the problem is no where the money is coming from for a layman in the country.

Partly true. All said, money is just a piece of paper. A loaf of bread used to cost thousands of Zimbabwean dollars while in the U.S, it cost few dollars

Olajide Aweni a resident in the United Kingdom made mention that,

“A 2 bedroom here in the UK will cost you between £750 and £1300 depending on the area that's around N562,000 and N975,000 per month. This is just RENT. Back home in Nigeria, that's the amount for a 3 bedroom in a good area."

"To survive here you will work. There is no evening bar here na work work work work. There are available jobs now. It's only if you are lazy that you will struggle here in the UK.

Get it right: Things are better here but you will not sit down and hope you will make it here. It depends on what you do and how well grounded you are sha."

What do you think about these figures guys??

My older brother pays 120k monthly for a bedroom flat at stoke-on-trent.

UK still better my brother, forget those expensive life style, we go cut our coat according to our size
You are correct, many people will prefer living in the UK or the US Nigeria, mainly because their currencies are not devalued, healthcare, education and security are intact, but they are paid for by people living there.

It's not just the rent, you pay for additional amenities and that quickly gulps your income, making it impossible to save there sometimes.

So, those in Nigeria are lucky because rent is cheap, but lack of basic amenities is why some folks have decided to stay put in those countries.

No one wants to walk around with fear of being kidnapped when that's not common where they're coming from, and they can't rent a cheaper place in Nigeria where it's more difficult to get a job.

If you have the opportunity to travel to the UK do it, don't let these Nigerians deceive you, they would always bring up stories to confuse you

That’s just it bro, could you believe we still have some rich people in Nigeria that moved out of the country mainly because they are lacking these basic amenities such as water, electricity, healthcare, etc.

Even as bad as it is, here in Dubai is still 101 better than living in Nigeria because you enjoy these basic needs as a common man in the country.

Lol nobody can even deceive anyone, it’s what we see ourselves on a daily, either on the TV or internet.

Life is easy, less stress, good atmosphere and great income. You will make it very fast if you don’t get carried away with the big lifestyle over there.

Bro just japa in the right way if you get good connection.

Someone is paying 800k per year for a 1 bedroom flat here in a very good area in Nigeria.

A 2 bedroom goes for 650k to 700k per year in an averagely good area.

A 3 bedroom goes for 1.2 to 1.5m per year in an averagely here in Nigeria.

Nigeria is cheap
when you compare Nigeria rentage to that of UK in naira, is the person in UK earning in naira?
can you see a 2 bedroom here in Nigeria, in a good place for 1000 per month?
