Hello Nairalanders;

Please I seek information on how to set up, a radio channel from the scratch.

Yeah, I have very strong passion in the media industry, with a flourishing movie making firm already, however my greatest desire in life above owning a trillion dollars in the bank is to own a RADIO CHANNEL .

So if anyone in here understands what passion entails and knows a bit on radio channel setup to international standard, please advice me, radio licensing charge, consoles etc.

Please enlighten me and can #12m execute this project? Aside housing facility which is available.

That 12million alone will go for licensing without knocking at the door or knowing important people in your State.

Just look for a political figure, he will help you meet the right people that will make the process smooth.

Or you begin with Podcast.

Application form 50k. If approved, 5 year licence 20m in Abuja, Kano, Phc. No free frequency in Lagos. Other cities 15m. Equipment, installation, rent, staff will cost up to 20m depending on quality, location, etc. License is renewed every 5 years.
