I can't blame him cos when Scholes can come off his couch after months and still command and control our midfield easily, how will he feel like quitting while he still has more assists than our other midfielders. While it is testament to his longevity and productivity, it is also an indictment of d other players. Signings or not, if Carrick had stepped up and been a consistent midfield general not just a reliable player, if d likes of Ando, Fletcher, Gibson e.t.c showed consistency and quality Giggs would have quit realizing he would be playing reserve footy to keep match fit and Scholes would have comeback if at all, to mostly to fill a squad position.
