When ever we are going on a date, l make sure we split the bill at least 70/30
my girl works and earn well ,l just dont want her to have this mentality that l have to cover all our expenses now and after marriage.

Do whatever works for you amd makes you happy......but one thing i know is that shes not 100% happy about the arrangement..... most naija babes will gladly prefer the parasitic mode and buy u boxers/singlet or explorer perfume once a year when your birthdays comes....

If she sees another man doing lau lau spending on her....she go waka...

Ofcourse! 50:50 too is normal... If you earn more and she can't afford to pay half the bills then you can cover it for her... You're both adults who work and earn...

Same with chores... Don't burden her with household work... Do your 30% too... Okay?

I can't date a girl that won't reason with me, what I do with my girl is that we sort things out before leaving the house. If she's the one paying she likes giving me the money backstage, and I think that's cool.

Whenever she buys anything with her money she doesn't ask me to refund, I only do that if I feel like.......She ain't got that entitlement mentality like most Nigerian girls.

The thing is that you should roll with any partner you're comfortable with and who understands you.

You are not doing anything bad but let it not be everytime. For the fact that she is comfortable with the idea of sharing formula for the bill should show you the kind of woman you are dating. Most ladies won't have anything to contribute unlike your girlfriend that is supportive.

I have dated a girl that won't let me give her money, she never collect money from me unless I buy a gift. She said she is an adult and her parents know and that's why her parents allow her to take care of herself, so she doesn't expect me to take care of her.

This was the same nonsense American men did in the 50s and 60s thinking they were smart and we all know how it ended for them. Pay in full when you take her out. But continue collecting whatever you borrow her, that's okay.
