Other countries have every now and then even come to Nigeria to learn about how she solved or is dealing with so or so thing. It is not a new thing, and that is why courses like international Communications and Developmental Communication is a thing. Stop reasoning like a dunce.
same Egypt came to Nigeria to learn what he is going over to learn. fundamental and system importation is one other problem killing us.

the structure is on ground but the problem in Nigeria is deploying our human capital rightly, (brain drain is the issue). clamping down on corruption is a goal (efcc and icpc are on ground) does he need to go to Egypt to learn how to deploy both agency.

Osinbajo speech during the primaries says it all, everything needed is on ground just the right leader is all we need likewise the right followers.

It's funny that some learned people don't realise that new ideas could be learned even in few minutes.

Common sense response to a dullard cheesy

Peter Obi is a man of vision and a man on mission.

How can you be a Nigerian and still want to vote for Tinubu or Atiku. Don't we Nigerians ever learn? Don't we ever get tired of poverty?

Nigeria is for the youth, vote right... Vote Peter Obi. smiley
bros stop being funny, Nigerians of today will never learn, they will still line up and vote another vegetable into ASO ROCK after collecting 5k.

I don't want Peter Obi. Let me tell you why., NIGERIA IS ON THE VERGE OF FINAL DESTRUCTION AND TOTAL COLLAPSE, SO WHAT NIGERIA NEED NOW IS NOT A BUILDER LIKE PETER OBI, NIGERIA SIMPLY NEED ANOTHER NEPOTISTIC TRIBAL VAGETABLE TO COMPLETE THE SMALL WORK OF PUSHING THE COUNTRY OVER THE CLIFF AND INTO THE ABYSS OF EXTERMINATION this can only be achieved by those that were "born to rule" not Peter Obi.

Peter Obi will receive Ihejirika threatment so let the gentleman go and rest

Good response.

What’s good about the response? You endorsed that because it came from Arkwright…a British and a former high commissioner to Nigeria?

That was thoughtless and stupid coming from someone like him. Sowore is right unfortunately. He didn’t condemn the mission rather the timing of the trip. Obi should’ve travelled quietly to Egypt, this is time to build bridges and intensify his efforts to convince Nigerians that he is the right man to be the next president of Nigeria. He should’ve done his home-works, research and learnings….travelling to Egypt at this time exposes him as unserious and ill prepared to confront and address the many problems facing Nigeria.

but campaign never start properly. Travelling to Egypt in order to study their system doesn't mean he is going street by street to ask questions. The media can twist topics just to sell a particular story. Possible he went for an international relations or political science workshop/seminar.

You see why you have a lot of Otellectuals in Nigeria.
Not knowing how to react to core issues is still a very big problem in Nigeria or maybe because of the country's ailing education system.

When you admit visiting Egypt is irrelevant (politics or no politics), you are also admitting that all is well in Nigeria as regards the power sector especially, which is a very big lie.

You saw how the British man responded. Though I don't really like their country but they are armed with sound education.

Learning from other countries who have broken similar challenges being presently faced by Nigeria.

What does Nigeria have to learn from Egypt that is far ahead of us in all ramifications. We do not share similar ideology, culture and system of government.

We could as well learn from America, Germany or the United kingdom if we desperate to start from the top, which will still be of no use.

Rwanda and Ghana are fastest growing economies who happen to just be coming out of the shackles and challenges being presently faced by Nigeria, and such destination would have been worthwhile as their are still evident developmental tracts which are visible and presently working for them.

Isn't it amazing that someone that aided in ushering in the current failure of a president still thinks highly of himself when he should bury his head in shame and be asking for forgiveness from Nigerians on a daily basis for misleading them?

Sowore has not been tested in any governance capacity at any level and has been doing some paid political blackmailing hatchet jobs as his side gig and then metamorphosed into an activist and now sees himself as a politician with a track record of service when he haven't even won an election to lead a village hut?

Sowore is really deluded.

He left the 2 certified career thieves that purchased the delegates of their various parties to become their party presidential candidate's and now attacking a man that is very decent and going about his own business?

Sowore must be very envious of the goodwill and followership Obi is getting and wished he was the one.

Sadly, Nigerians know Sowore is nothing but an opportunist which is why when he calls for a clownish, vindictive and ill-fated revolution or a malnurished political rally, only 10 people shows up yet he still hasn't gotten the memo that no one takes him seriously.

Sadly for the so called diplomat, he's not q Nigerian and he's not running for anything in Nigeria.

Siemens is already in Nigeria doing similar to what they did in Egypt and the German president that negotiated the deal and the Nigerian government did not go to Egypt to learn anything.

The clueless diplomat scored his own goal.

I am replying you in darkness so apparently whatever the Germans are doing isn't working.

PO's trip is a masterstroke. No time for depending on non-functioning solutions. That's one of PO's strengths.

Arkwright was a high commissioner for a few years in Nigeria, so he is very qualified to air his opinion on these issues. PO is very right to embark on this trip

Do you personally know what and how did Siemens do for Egypt that they are already doing for Nigeria? If not, how can you know if they're really on the right track and if Nigeria isn't being short-changed?

You think Peter Obi eliminated excesses in his administration by accepting everything thrown at him hook, line and sinker, with no iota of understanding?

Get rid of your fixed mindset and see that there is no limit to what can be learnt.

Atleast, you have to start from somewhere, who told you that it ends in egypt, your party presidential candidate can do his own in ghana if pride would allow him, and for Obi, if you want to be the best , you have to study the best. Energy, finance, good governance and infrastructure do not know any culture. everybody enjoys them without any question asked about who the producer is.

Yes knowledge is useful, but the knowledge he went to acquire can only be useful if applicable. How will he apply it when he doesn't stand a chance in the polls?? The focus should be on winning.

Just so you see what Egypt has been able to achieve in the most recent times, coupled with the highest energy generation in africa. If we believe power generation in Nigeria is one important mix needed to jump-start our economy into production status, then knowing the shortcut to such is good

This is simple,
Obi is not prepared for the presidency. There is nothing bad in learning from other countries achievements but the RIGHT TIMING is very important.

Wait until APC capitalises on this travel.

You need to have LABOUR PARTY governors in order to have a LABOUR PARTY president. Ekiti is the first place to test your popularity and instead of you to go to the masses and tell them to vote your candidate, you are busy travelling to learn. Ok sir, keepi learning while they snatch all states from you.

That means he does not yet have plan on education and power.

This man may then visit another country again to learn how to pick his ministers.

No doubt, Obi is enjoying support from naive youths, if not, this is travel announcement is an indication that he is not yet prepared for governance.
