The Chairman/Founder Monirich Eririego Foundation, Chief Micheal Nwannennaya Erugo, represented by the DG of the Foundation, Magnus Obinna, who stated this on Wednesday at Amapu Ntigha, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Abia State at the residence of the Member Representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Onwusibe, has touched the lives of his Constituents over the years, reiterating that they identify with people who have contributed immensely to better the society.

Obinna said as a foundation for good governance, they cannot shy away from their responsibility of recognizing individuals with outstanding attributes, noting that due to his distinguishing performances, the organization decided not to give mere awards but to give little token after due consultation to assist him in pursuing his cause politically, pointing out that they partner individuals with clear cut vision to impact humanity.

He urged Onwusibe not to relent in his good work, expressing optimism that he will emerge victorious come 2023.

He noted that anyone who has no shame, does not have any moral justification to be in politics, stressing that despite rusticating him from the Abia State University, Uturu, he cannot be rusticated from the minds of the people as he has in the last 3 years of being a lawmaker, distinguished himself which made some people jittery because he wanted to expose the decadence in the PDP administration in the State.

He commended the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government for assenting to the Electoral Act Amended Bill, stating that it will, to a large extent guarantee free, fair and credible election come 2023, adding that Abians have suffered including University lecturers in the state, pensioners, teachers among others who are owed backlog of salaries while few individuals gallivant with the resources of the state.

Hon. Onwusibe, who revealed that he has always fought and stood for good governance, also said. he belongs to the masses, downtrodden, noting that his vision of providing good governance for the people synchronizes with the vision of the Monirich Eririego Foundation.

He charged the Foundation to scrutinise all candidates vying for positions in the State, imploring them to vote anyone found worthier than him while thanking them for identifying to work with him in the area of good governance and partnership, promising that not to disappoint them.

Others who spoke during the visit, including: the Assistant Director General, Udo Atulobi, Secretary General Chris Erugo, and the Public Relations Officer, Ugochukwu Kamalu, appreciated Hon. Ginger Onwusibe, adding that they have learnt some takeaways from their interface with him.
