• Okowa betrayed ‘Asaba Accord’ of Southern governors, Afegbua react

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar’s decision to pick Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, as his running mate, was long in coming despite the several detours to yesterday’s official proclamation.

At the party’s national caucus meeting attended by three other governors and other prominent leaders of the party, Atiku said Okowa’s choice was a very difficult decision in view of the fact that the other two persons whose names were submitted to him were equally qualifiedas.

Those opposed to the recommendation of Wike argued that he would not be a good sell to the North because of his hard stance against the Buhari administration, particularly, the court case against the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) regarding the collection of Value Added Tax (VAT).

According to him, Okowa possesses the admirable attributes for the position of Vice-President and has the appropriate experiences in both legislative and executive arms of governance.

“He personifies not only the seriousness the current moment represents for our country but also the future that our young people yearn for and deserve.

“He’s a serving governor who has demonstrated in his state and through his conduct, that governance is about service to the people. I know that he will not only add excitement to our energised campaign but will also help to bring focus, discipline and stability to our government come 2023,” . qualities wike currently lacks...Atiku stated.

An insider source with Atiku team noted that while Wike’s candidacy was very strong and highly spoken of, talks of his hard sell to the North were a disapproving factor.

“His courage and strength were highly recommended. Atiku would have needed someone of his caliber to be on the ticket but between Tuesday and yesterday, Wike’s virtues and value to the party were overshadowed by talks of his being highly toxic, which would not only affect acceptance of the joint ticket in the North but across other regions as well. It was a big minus.”

Afegbuah was a mile in Pdp Edo and he decamped ..

Afegbuah did not decamp to IP to support Obi .. but on his way to Apc .. after shouting southern candidates
Reason why IBB sacked him.. can’t b trusted

No more food

Wike was never an option to PDP .. saying this .. we want him to leave the party .. let him decamp the decamp with his money.. another will take his place and will be 10 Times whatever he feels he is now .. by this time next year.. he’s history as former .. his politcal life depend on next government .. either he dance to jail or fall in place humbly

Atiku owe no one explanation.. kids online feels maybe don’t understand Atiku politics of 99/03..

Okowa will take south south votes .. if igbos want make them talk from now till 2400 e changes nothing ..
Ask them Obi solid achievements..

If Yoruba want make the raise propaganda in Warri .. e changes nothing
What’s are Tinubu a achievements in Lagos as Governor .. being a former capital not less than 14 years back before 99.. yet by 2000 Lagos became the most dirtiest state in Africa till Fashola came..

Propaganda is stale

Pdp is the incoming government..

After wasting billions of naira Rivers money

Wike was never an option

The Yoruba media hyped and pushed him .. leading him on and abandoning him

He thinks making friends with Makinde and Ortom means he now has a voice

Wike is limited to ikwere land .. and can’t influence anything in South south .. which person go vote Wike in south south .. we saw how the votes went

Udom and okowa is out
Cross river is not his ground
Bayelsa people don’t like and will go with Atiku even at 0000 hours

Which state in igboland will he secure wining for Atiku without massive rigging and funding

Can he win Edo.. if not for same Atiku

Okowa remains the very best political choice .. Delta states delivers bloc votes to Pdp since 99..

Saying Okowa did nothing because he media shy no means Fayemi Makinde Oyetola Lagos and Ogun has out performed him in governance

Okowa is mile away from this humans

The battle is between Mr. Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar

As for Tinubu, nothing concern Arsenal with Champions League’s cup
