However when it comes to letting people stay in one's house, I swr na Yoruba people lead the race, I remember one time wey I travs come Lagos and was stranded na one Yoruba milf with big ass wey never marry na hin I stay with until I finish wetin I been dey do and I truly enjoyed my stay there

I have helped someone on this nairaland. I fed him, gave him money and where to lie his head just because he was jobless and I really felt pity for him. I didn't know I was helping a beast and monster, he turned against me and promised to ruin me completely. Almighty God really saved me. I can't help any random person again unless the spirit of God direct me

I was once without accommodation in a place with no family and needed an accommodation. God so kind, a friend linked me up with his friend who lived in a three bedroom apartment. He took me in. I'd initially said I would stay for a month but when I didn't get the job I was hunting for, I pleaded for an extra month. Still, no hope. I left and squatted with a friend and his sister. Long story but in the end, I got the job and stayed on my own. I also took two people who were stranded in with no cost from them. I didn't regret any. Everyone just has their own character. I just put it in prayer that nothing bad should happen to me while I accommodated those people. A friend of mine who knew how I housed those people kept warning me to be careful despite appreciating my kindness.

So, OP, don't discourage people. Our experiences will form us but he who is good has the upper hand over he who is evil.

Circumstances can make you do some stuff

A contract engineer could be in a new location for a project and may not necessarily want to take an apartment
I have been with people who lived longer in a hotel
It's not about being wealthy

Back to that story

The guy elapsed the 2 - weeks and pleaded with me to extend it but I refused and he went behind me to meet the manager of the hotel that I will pay for him extending his stay
