This accounts for the numerous traditional accounts by West African ethnicities such as the Yoruba, Igbo, Edo etc of having migrated from the NORTH and the NILE VALLEY regions in antiquity.

There is copious evidence of cultural and linguistic similarities and connections between present-day black African peoples and the people of the ancient Nile Valley civilizations, and the Levant.
