I saw this from several sources but I bet western mainstream media would never report this whether its true or not. You forgot to mention that it was not just the US but a coalition of other so called powerful militaries. The US cannot fight alone. The last time they tried it in Vietnam and with poorly armed villagers in Somalia we know what happened.
