Great experience I have to say.
Taught me a lot about writing, proofreading and the importance of being attentive to details.

I got a freelancing job (writing job), here on Nairaland. I used both days and night to execute the project, but when it was time for him to pay me, he blocked me on WhatsApp, that was May this year, till now he has not unblocked me neither has he paid me; meanwhile I took the job up because I was in a need.

it is interesting to know that I have never picked my phone for once to call or to insult him! yet, each time I reach out to him through the email he once used to send jobs to me, will insults me. Anyway, I hope nemesis catch up with him soon.

He is right here on nairaland and still uses his number.

So, yeah i got a job, but the experience was not a favorable one!

Yeah I have. But my dream job in a multi national company I work with was gotten from a telegram group.
Just like a dream.
Saw one vacancy that fit into my expertise.
Applied and got a call from a recruitment agency that said the job was just for 3 months and salary is 50k
Alas! When I was referred to the main company, it was a multi national and they even doubled the salary. After the expiry of the contract, I got another call for another opening. Now the salary I was given shook me. I never believed it.
Now I'm going in permanently with a pay that is just a testimony.

I'm not talking of =N=50,000 below, I'm asking from =N=100,000 above with benefits such as pension, HMO, leave allowance, 13th month and productivity bonus

If that's the type of job you want, then I'd advise you to leave nairaland and enter Dreamland

Yes ooo. I got my current job form this noble forum which I am indeed grateful for. I was depressed that evening and engrossed in deep thought due to joblessness that evening, so I decide to check the job vacancy section when I stumble on a vacancy post in a logistic company based in Lagos on one of their FMCG contract.

I applied and was shortlisted, i was interviewed and ask to go for medical test.

I am 1 year, 6months on the job as at today.

Thanks to Mr Seun Osewa & the entire Nairaland & crew.

FOUR REASONS YOU SHOULD REGISTER YOUR BUSINESS WITH CAC THIS MONTH

1. Your CAC certificate grants you easy access to loans and grants, from government, banks and angel investors.

2. With your CAC certificate, you can have access to a corporate account, which will help you manage your business finances well.

3. If you register your company with CAC , you will have the protection of a limited liability.

4. With your CAC certificate you can easily gain the trust of foreign clients and investors.

Take the bold step of registering your business today, because it is the first step to making it big.

Please, where is the Job??
I have been begging nairaland to push my commends to front page, make my destiny helper for see me. I don tire...

I studied Accounting Ed
I made second Class upper
University of Nigeria Nsukka
I have worked as head of Account and Audit for 3years. I was suspended, because some protagonist were against the combination of Audit and Account. I have been job hunting for months now, I got a job subsequently two weeks after I was suspended at one Venetian Suite at Utako Abuja. The Chairman only paid me salary of #11100 for 3moths. After he kept telling me that business was not productive.

I demanded for account statement, the Oga refused to present it for preparation of financial statements. He will always come up with excuses that we aren't bringing business, whereas the issue of bringing business was never part of my agreement with him. All through my stay I demanded for employment letter, he never produced one, little did I know that this man is in the habit of employing and not paying salaries, and MGt staffs were resigning. Until my 3rd month, he came up with allegations that I killed the business. Then I left. I have been job hunting since then. Abeg Nairaland I need your help.

Mops Abeg make una no pursue me ooo
