mbasharon:You should know why. Aside being active and supportive to all of them, Wike is alleged to have been the major sponsor or source of fund and sustenance for PDP since becoming governor of Rivers. Now in 2019, Atiku Abubakar was made flag bearer of the same PDP despite being one of the chief architects of the party's disarray and eventual downfall in 2015. He lost in 2019 and didn't stay back to build or sustain the party but was mostly in UAE. Same Wike and a few others sustained the tempo in the party. Now Atiku resurfaced and because of structural bias that favours the north he emerged candidate for Presidency under the pdp again. Having set up a committee himself and the leadership of the party, and the majority of the committee members aligned with a particular decision which the remaining four are yet to publicly disagree, why renege? This matter will certainly deal Atiku and the PDP a big blow. 4 Likes |

Hibernation into fasting and prayers in the real democratic era means consultations. Some of them would have spoken to each other on phone their alternatives to PDP.. I sense majority of the people that will leave PDP soon will join the APC while few will join Labour.. No wonder Obaseki was leaning towards his Obedience slang... and recently Fayose leaning towards what he described as South lo kan....a popular slang originated by Asiwaju. I don't know much, but Fayose will never leave PDP to join Obi. Rather, he would join Tinubu and try to pull more of his colleagues towards his interest. Saraki as he stands he is not even with Atiku... Probably thinking of Kwankwaso NNPP but he would be calculating the lack of proper structure for the new born party....Same as Labour Party... However his interest now might be just between PDP or APC.. the question now is.....will he be man enough to go back to APC? or will the APC even welcome him back and trust him again? The party must be very stupid after atiku lost the 2019 elections he was nowhere to be seen, it was wike who carried the party as his own especially the Edo state election wike was the only reason obasieke was able to dethrone oshoimhole APC he should be respected and given the presidential ticket but the northern thief has other ideas. Ortom should shut his dirty mouth up. He has every opportunities to make Wike PDP presidential candidate, but he wasted it. He was the chairman of zoning Committee, instead of him to do the needful and zone it to South, for fairness and equity, he threw everything open and allow Atiku to bribe his way through. He's the cause of this problem. |

Nigerian christians are confused. Unfortunately. We need a christian person as president because of immense insecurity. Pdp is in the hands of christians, all of their governors are christians except three in the north. Yet they elected a muslim man as their candidate. Even igbos that shout marginalization, many of them voted for atiku instead of ikwere igbo man. |

fasho01:I tell you! I see the man as a double agent within the party... Is it not Orton who spearheaded Ayu's chairmanship? No pity for Wike too sha! He chased out his stooge, Secondus in the calculation that Ayu, a northerner as chairman will easily pave way for him as presidential candidate... Now, the north is dishing out another mastery at the game! The lessons for Wike abound: 1. For now, let him strike back by supporting Peter Obi - IMO it's his best bet. 2. Let him learn to draw his strength from his roots and immediate surrounding - time for him to be more 'south friendly'... 3.
