A travel blogger who is known as Columbus on Twitter has shared the story of a supporter of Peter Obi who was involved in an accident five days after he was approached by the supporters of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress to campaign for their candidate.

According to Columbus, Mr. Rasak Olaitan Idowu who's video where he was advocating for Peter Obi went viral was approached by some APC members who asked him to do a similar video for their candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

However, Mr. Rasak Olaitan Idowu turned down their request. After that, he began to receive threats, both physical and phone calls. Those threatening him are angry because he is supporting Peter Obi, an Igbo man.

However, on Tuesday, he was involved in an accident. While explaining how he got involved in an accident, he said that he was on his way to work when a fast moving vehicle hit his leg and knocked him down.

Even on his hospital bed, he said that he still has a lot of things to do concerning the campaign which he had embarked on.

According to Columbus, a good supporter of Peter Obi known as Jerry Douglas on Twitter has been with Mr. Rasak Olaitan Idowu since yesterday.

Columbus said that they had to leave the hospital where he was initially admitted because of the cost of the surgery. However, they have moved to another hospital that demanded for 600,000 naira before they can operate on him. The surgery has been scheduled to commence on Tuesday.

Columbus said that Mr. Rasak who said that he would rather die than to stop supporting Peter Obi is high spirited. He called for well-meaning Nigerians to support him.
