I'd prefer doing 3 jobs and be stressed daily whilst getting substantial income than to do 8-5 here in nigeria for a monthly pay.

Some companies would pay you less than 70k and still ask for 8-5, heck, teachers and factory workers earn less.

More is less only when less gives the required.

You'd complain and call people lazy if they refused to work.

Now, that they are taking up 2-3 jobs to be able to meet up with bills and repatriation of finds to also help those at home, you'd still complain.

There should be moderation in everything. The other time the African nurse was refused permanent residence in France bc she always overwork. So whats your fucking point exactly?

Though things might be expensive in foreign countries, but most immigrants always want to live above their means especially Africans.

If you have not been anywhere you better say because the whites are also working 2 and 3 jobs to survive

Because they are migrants, they are not lazy where they are coming from they even do more than 3 jobs and still find it difficult to feed or foot their bills.
So they migrated to do the three or more jobs and so they can live a more convenient life fueled by their hard work and perseverance.

So you expect them to work from 8am to 12pm and rest for the day right, people who are used to over 10 hours a day in Africa...!! Later when they start building mansions and buying cars you will call them Ritualists...

Most immigrants do multiple jobs until they have a degree or the required training to get a higher-paying job.
Most immigrants who got stuck doing multiple jobs after years here are mostly the ones with no training.
However, one of the reasons immigrants work lots of hours is because they do not have families here.
Here could be boring without families and friends.
So you rather turn that time into money.

They do same here in Nigeria. The only difference is that they are physically doing it in abroad but come in the form of ghost workers in Nigeria. There are enough jobs in Nigeria but some persons are holding up to 5 jobs and perhaps not just appearing in any .

How's it silly. The other day a Nigerian nurse was refused permanent residence application she filed bc she overworked contrary to the stipulation. Blacks should have mercy on themselves

Many reasons. First is the oyibo people have generational wealth passed down to them in form of real estates, wills, insurances from their parents and ancestry . Etc. most blacks basically are the first from their lineage coming to these countries hence they struggle with the initial settling in. In addition to the fact that they have people dependent on them from back home. If you see them, help them because they are all under incredible stress.

Initially my thought was OP might be a teenager or such.
But it crossed my mind that most of the foreigners act in the same manner. Few do two or more jobs. Particularly here in nordic where you can get enough free money from government to pay bills.

In most countries around the world most foreigners do only one job. You see some blame their village people for their failure. But the reason why they dont have money is that they are lazy. Money cannot appear in your pocket just like a magic but you have to work for it.

American dream.

Today many people will tell you that American dream is mere dream.
But American dream is still exist till today. You can achieve the dream by working hard.
Its like that forever. Only hard working people achieve their dream.

Everywhere in the world include nigeria one can achieve a lot by working very hard.
You know chief afe babalola SAN. He said he work from 7 AM till 11PM daily for 364 days in a year. Just one day off in a year.
I remember chief gani fawehinmi also worked tirelessly like that.

Personally, I think u should never take more than two jobs, if u are in a financial pinch u can temporarily take three, but DO NOT DO IT FOR LONG.

I know u want to make money & shyt, but d difference is dat, most of these jobs abroad are either physical or mental taxing, sometimes even both. unlike the ones in Nigeria where u can basically be a ghost � in one & still earn d full amount or do cover each other with u colleagues...So if u go there, better have optimum rest & work effectively.

If it earns themmore, please let thembe. Afterall, here in Nigeria, you'll work longer hours and still earn peanut at the end of the day.
