Your calculation is very wrong , With what is on ground presently Tinubu is more favor than other aspirants, you can’t take south west from Tinubu, those northern governors who stood by him during primary, do you think it’s just for fun ? Just relax and see how things unfold in the next few months to this time , politics is a game of interest. Remember they are politicians not just public servant , if we are of the same parent and in different political party we will work against each other ambition accept this fact

Borno is the only Northern state that believes APC is trying in terms of security. Again, Zulum has a very strong pull on his citizens.

APC VP will likely come from Borno.

I am 100% sure Tinubu will win Borno overwhelmingly. It's not even a debate and that's the only state he will win outside SW.

Tinubu will come 3rd in the general election. The election is between Atiku and Obi. I see OBI edging him with votes from North Central, Abuja, Northern Christian votes and some Moslem votes.

Kwankwanso will take NW and Atiku will cut into that votes massively, followed by Tinubu.

Atiku will win NE and will cut massively into SW and Bayelsa.

Obi will clear the South and will perform well in SW but behind Atiku. He will also have a strong showing in Bayelsa but I don't expect Ijaws to mobilize for him, expect they decide to repay Igbos for supporting them in 2011 and 2015.

I have lived and worked in Bayelsa and I'll tell you confidently, it's Atiku's to lose but Labour will have strong showing due to overwhelming presence of Igbos.

Jonathan will support OBI low-key and I expect Edwin Clark to mobilize for him too.

APC, PDP and Labour will perform well in Rivers but other SS states are in the bag for Labour expect Delta where Obi will win narrowly.

You know some people, very immature and childish by nature, will always have their heads in the cloud.

The most influential Northerners cannot allow Atiku to win because Nigeria is on a knife edge and another Northern President simply means the only region keeping the Country civilized, i.e the SW, becomes restive also.

Wise Northerner know that a win for Atiku simply signals the end of Nigeria because it tells Nigerians, finally, that no form of equitable transfer of power will ever exist between North and south, going into the future, since the North can simply use nebulous population 'superiority' to perpetuate itself in power.

If Atiku wins it is Yorubas mainly who will be the biggest rebels, political and otherwise, going forward. A rebellion already started with all our Governors demanding regional government and abolition of States, VAT fight with the FG, state legislature ban of open grazing, Amotekun etc, etc.

The SW had started going regional. It was obvious to the blind because the region felt powerless entirely in Buhari and the cabal's autocracy.

We can see that this is no longer about Party politics when PDP Fayose is openly behind Tinubu. Every Yoruba leader, including Makinde and others, are behind Tinubu because issues are beyond politics alone now.

If Atiku wins then nothing will stop all Yorubas using everything to agitate for what our Governors began agitating for last year, shown below, that was in defiance of what PMB, head of APC, believes in.

Makinde who is PDP joined the agitation below also showing it is no longer about APC or PDP politics. Buhari made it so, with his style of autocratically refusing to make concession favouring the idea of others, while Nigeria became more insecure and troubled. Even wise and reasonable Northerners know and accept that.


It was insensitive of PDP to field a Northerner but it will be a disaster for Nigeria if Atiku wins.
The terrible insecurity plus ethnic/religious and sectional division under Buhari, in his second term, was tolerated by a lot of influential Southerners because they expected that a Southern President will get the chance to right the wrongs after Buhari.


If Atiku win that hope is gone and with it the Yorubas belief in Nigeria. This is what wise Northerners want to forestall because they know it is more existentially workable to wait their turn than support few myopic Northern hawks who want to precipitate uncontrollable restiveness in all corners of Nigeria that a Fulani replacing a Fulani will cause.

There will always be Northern hawks, hegemonist, bigots and borne-to-rule exponents, like Atiku himself, who cannot see the danger ahead but the way Northern Governors angrily rushed Adamu, when he announced Lawan consensus candidate should show intelligent Nigerians that wise Northerners won't work for Tinubu because they love him alone

They will do it because they know they must for their own good also and the future of their children.

Obi is not even in the reckoning. He is nothing but a 'make-weight' candidate. It is Tinubu the wise men of the North are backing. You are right politics is indeed a game of interests and it is in the interest of sane and reasonable Northern leaders that Tinubu wins not Atiku.
