The disciples of Christ were arrested and beaten for preaching the Gospel of Christ to the world as He instructed them to do, and they were happy to be counted worthy to suffer shame for His name sake.

I've been arrested and beaten before for preaching the Gospel on the streets and I am privileged to share the same feeling with them.

I wouldn't be surprised if this Nigerian man feels the same way.

It's a feeling that is beyond comprehension.

That's what Jesus meant when He said He'd give His disciples peace not as the world giveth... It's a different kind of peace. Not tied to the things or feelings of this world but to the things of God's Kingdom.
