Ademola is a Muslim Oga. The Adeleke Family consists of both Muslims and Christians. His elder brother Deji is a Christian. Their late elder brother Isiaka is a Muslim.

2.The US does not give one way presidential tickets...like most politicans, you have to work hard making alliances, and running on the platform of either of the two main parties...to get there. Nothing like voting for personality. (Independent candidates may be popular in the US, but once they don't have the reach of the dems or GOP, nothing for them)

A man swore that he will use his entire being to ensure the Islamization of Nigeria and the man is in power. I mean he is the greatest man in Nigeria as of now so what shall he report back if he doesn't show openly that which he promised his followers. May God help us.

I expect every Pastor, Christian & indeed every reasonable Nigerian to speak up against this demonic Muslim-Muslim ticket. Even the bat denied the M-M ticket rumours during the primaries on to later bribe/buy the conscience of delegates.

Buhari's 8yrs of nepotic Govt severely damaged the inter ethno-religious trust in Nigeria.
&now this na-my-turn desperado bat wants to use the M-M ticket to heighten the tensions & further divide the country along religious lines. It will even get worse if the ticket sails thru. God forbid bat thing.

Don't understand why some people are comparing Osun with Nigeria. Osun & SW are predominantly Yoruba so there is already some great deal of unity & oneness based on same tribe. Is there any such unity & oneness in Nigeria as a country?
So we must practise an inclusive democracy to avoid any section feeling side-lined.

Because your chances of getting government job, or contract, or even admission into government schools depends to a large extent on having someone of the right tribe or religion in a position of authority...and that includes the presidency and VP slots...

So, if Tinubu wins, chances are Muslims would get in the ascendancy, and that means that any Christian going for federal job is going to feel his or her chances are restricted. Same for contracts, etc.

That is why religion and tribe are big issues in the Nigerian political space, even under army rule. We had two pogroms against Igbo people in 1966 because in January 15, the five majors, four of whom happened to be Igbos, killed a lot of prominent Northern political and millitary leaders...meaning that all of a sudden, job and career opportunities were limited for up and coming Northerners, and this can have knock on effects. Hence the July coup and the pogroms, and then the civil war.

It has nothing to do with islamisation or jihad. At the end, if my religion is not holding a top job...I cannot get a government job, where it is difficult to be sacked from (Unlike the private sector...where someone can be sacked for one minor infringement).

Exactly what christains used to say those days that they occupied ASO rock as number one that the christains outnumbered Muslims in Nigeria.

Even though Tinubu was not well advised before going for the Mislim-Muslim ticket, I believe it's more of political calculation than Islamization agenda.

Many people are directly and indirectly calling Muslims and Islam evil and their candidate will still need to campaign to these so called evils to win election.

I don't know the mind of a Northern Muslim but it's rare to see a southern Muslim moving about to recruit people into the religion, either subtly or forcefully.

Many of us have Muslim landlords
Muslim bosses at work
Muslim security guards
Muslim teachers and lecturers
Muslim drivers and so on.
Have they in any way try to Islamize us?

Tinubu has not even won and the and there is a lot of bedlam when there are sixteen candidates for the presidency. If you don't like Tinubu's ideology, choose from the remaining fifteen. We tend to dwell too much on frivolities and emotions that the core thing.

Nigeria should just go the way of China and don't put premium on religion.

THE SIMPLE REASON IS BECAUSE CONSCIOUSLY AND SUBCONSCIOUSLY THEY ALREADY SEE TINUBU AS NIGERIA'S NEXT PRESIDENT. IT IS ALL ABOUT A SHOW OF SELF DEFEAT. THERE IS ENOUGH TIME BEFORE THE GENERAL ELECTIONS FOR THEIR TEMPER TO HAVE COOLED DOWN.

Why are Muslims in let's say Plateau or Taraba State who constitute between 20/30% of the population not willing to run on Muslim Muslim ticket in the next Governorship election let's see how it ends.
Adeleke is also a Muslim as he is a Christian, so stop talking about Christian-Christian tickets in Osun, nobody knows Adelek's religion.
When we talk national election at the highest level, I see it as just an attempt to manipulate issues using your usual Taqiyyah to bring local politics to cover for a national shame of imposing one religion ticket on a nation that shares almost equal population in terms of both major religions. It is just like you alone eating food that belongs to you and another person and hoping that because the neighbor is peaceful, he should not even complain.

But one thing you should know as a good leader is to make reformed decision based on status quo..

You've never heard of inter-religious war in Osun.I came to start interacting with Muslim during my stay at Ife when I saw the love that existed between Christians and Muslims.
I came back to Delta preaching tolerance...

But if it happens it osun doesn't make it precedence in every where....Nigeria is war - torn where Christians in the North see themselves as endangered species...In Southern Kaduna for example you know the state of things...

Muslim - Muslim is not really bad but based on what we are experiencing as a nation...it is in-sensitive...

Tinubu and his promoters will lose out when we talk about competence. They don't even argue whether Tinubu is competent enough. They simply tell you he will appoint competent people to run Nigeria for him. We don't want that kind of President anymore, Nigeria cannot be governed through unelected proxies. That's why we are going for healthier and younger persons in the next election. Old people have failed.

I think religious leaders should tone down and stop this vociferous statements, you can either advice, or embark on peaceful protests, if you feel you don't like or are in tune with a political move, not making inciting statements this is not the right step to take.

Turkey was never a Christian nation


It took about several centuries of war, before Turkey became Muslim. Centuries....starting from the defeat of Heracilus in Syria-palestine in 632 AD to the fall of Constantinopole in the fifteenth century.

Also, Turkey...or the Eastern Roman empire...was an OLD empire...it was the last remnant of the ancient Roman empire that began around 200 or so BC....

Finally, the islamisation of the area...took several centuries
