It's not hard, it's useless. With leetcode, you either know it or you don't. With Dragnet, you see brazenly wrong answers. Or very ambiguous questions. I wrote SHL for a major Gas business in Nigeria and went through several stages before I got hired. SHL has excellent QA for their questions. Dragnet na anywhere belle face

How does one study for an aptitude test?

what i meant/trying to say is study that area where you normally perform very poor. Sought for books pertaining to that area of study. If it is general paper,english,spoken english,office practice etc that your performance is low, improve on it by reading booking before the test day.

But this is an APTITUDE test. Aptitude tests measure innate(natural born) abilities and in principle your studying is only to be test-wise(i.e. how to discipline yourself, manage your time and skip/return to questions that you're stuck on) which indeed will help a bit with your score. What you definitely cannot do here is study to solve problems that are beyond your mental capacity, this is simply not possible.

Could be one of 2 things.

1.You are not a 'natural test taker' . Yes, there are people like that.

2. You don't prepare/practice well enough. Studying the general topics & corrections for long.

Remedy: whenever you don't have a natural aptitude for an exercise you have to do more work.

I'm not joking do 4 hrs practice daily for the next 3 months— don't miss a day.

Make it 6 hrs a day & 2 to the test. The questions would come naturally to you. Because of muscle memory.

the one i did was on handling tools,critical and analytical thinking as an engineer.. 10% of questions that came out, i actually saw some in books.
