Yes you can. But you’ll need a very stable internet connection and a headset plus British/American accent and a payoneer account. The one I left pay 450$/month.

Can you link me up please?

Yes, you can get remote jobs easily

If your approach is SOLUTION BASED WITH DEMONSTRATED AUTHORITY in your Niche.

Listen,

Modern Employers Globally are looking for Solution providers to join their Team and not job applicants who send CV randomly.

Sending CV randomly online : LinkedIn, indeed etc in the hope of landing remote jobs is a band wagon approach, the wrong approach and almost 90% applicants from our climes get rejections and frustrated.

Because Anyone can come up with a fantastic CV either paid or self written. But not everyone can hit the ground running on a job and given our different time zone is challenge in itself.

But there's always a better approach to landing remote jobs, one which the remaining 10% applicants that eventually get 90% of the available jobs Use.

It is called solution based approach, here you exhibit enough Authority in your Niche (profession) on a specific social media platform where your potential employers hangout.

And guess what, they will reach out to you and ask for your service quotes.

Can you sense the difference, potential employers approach you and not the other way around.

The best part in this approach you're at liberty to Negotiate higher fee for your service.

The very few who understand and apply this approach to job search have been cashing out big time.

And this approach is applicable to all profession in life. Customer Service, virtual Assistant, digital skills, web designers etc

The only down side, it's not a quick fix approach. It may take you between 2 to 3 months of consistent work to start getting appreciable results.

" Applicants that eventually get the best jobs are those who are solution to problems, and not problems themselves" Stephen Covey

This approach can be learned.

Yes you can.

There are some that do not require you to be resident in that country. At best they ask that you have EXCELLENT written and spoken English - NO HEAVY ACCENT. Some would require you to be familiar with American English. So you know it is FAMILIARIZE not SE.

- You would also need uninterrupted power supply.

- A noise cancelling headset with microphone. Make them no hear “ekaro ologi de o” or “condemned iron…aluminium”

- Stable and backup internet connection.

- A quiet and proper workstation because your back go hear am.

- They pay entry level customer service $3/hr to $5/hr and you would work 40hrs a week or more.

- You should also be familiar with CRM and Ticketing tools. Mostly Zendesk and Freshdesk. They are things you can learn in a day on YouTube.

- For your portfolio, create a google slide of bespoke customer service responses to various situations. DELAYED DELIVERY, MISSING ITEM, DAMAGED ITEM, REQUEST FOR REFUND…etc. These are the recurring issues in customer support for e-commerce and majority are e-commerce firms. Close it with your name. Make it look real and sell it as your sample responses while working in similar capacity for another client.

Apologies for all the epistle without mentioning where these jobs can be gotten from.

-Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn.

There are more, but I don’t know them. These ones would link you to foreign clients. The competition is very stiff and they have a preference for freelancers from the Philippines. We would talk about this bias some other day.

If you get one and they like your work ethics, they won’t let you go. That I am sure of.

Goodday Ma,, I can see you have vast knowledge on this. Please ďż˝ this is the type of job I need weather foreign or local firms because of my health .I will need more guide on this. Thanks.

See them. Lazy youth.

All they're good at is always finding the easier way out. They will never confront their problems. How many people of other countries are doing customer service job while living in another country?

You know Nigeria is your problem but instead of find ways to disintegrate it, take the bull by its horn once and for all, you will prefer to go to Ikeja Along and buy modem and fairly used laptop with cracked screen and search for remote jobs so that if some small dollars roll in, you can sit down by your window side and watch nigeria burn for all you care.

I know you have calculated the foreign exchange and you're already rubbing your hands and dreaming of how you can start to buga once the dollars roll in.

Na lie. Terrorists are now in Abuja and Ondo, Owo. Ebubeagu and herdsmen are in Lokpanta, Abia and Ihiala.

Anywhere you go na bandit and terrorist. IT IS REVOLUTION NOW! YOU MUST FIGHT IT. NO ESCAPE FOR YOU!

Sure

Mostly Virtual Assistant roles.

But based on our time zone, look for roles that are streamlined to EMEA.

Landing one isn't a piece of cake. Na real war because of competition.

Should you land one, you are automatically immune from the falling Naira. Even if you are paid a a paltry $1,500.00 monthly you are still a big boy by Naija standards.

I have gotten quite some PMs and mentions for guidance. Sadly I do not guide people anymore for a myriad of reasons.

There is an Upwork thread HERE. Upwork is very competitive and favours professionals. I don’t know of other freelancer sites, but if you go through this thread, you will see others. You have to research and then ask questions when you are stuck.

Thank you!

its crazy tho different companies have their writing style guide but you must pass their test before you're consider to work for them. The pay depends on the company. TranscribeMe pay range is btw $15-$25p/hr for an audio hour. But must follow their writing style. An hr audio could take u over 5hrs sometimes especially if the audio is poor recorded. I will leave the job soon and spend time on the ALX SE coming up nxt month. You determine how much u make as long there are files to transcribe. Mind u laptop, foot pedal, stable internet is prequisite to do the job and also u will definitely need a headset if u want to consider it as a career. They pay u through paypal(almost transcribing firm)pay u with paypal.

Oh can the job be transferable, I need the job you want to leave.

Or can you connect me pls , would really appreciate
