A banner mocking the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, has been spotted at the protest of the Nigeria Labour Congress in Abuja on Wednesday. The NLC is protesting the Federal Government’s failure to address the demands of striking university workers. The banner which featured a masquerade with Ngige's face said, “This Okija priest must be banished from our universities. Enough is enough!” Meanwhile, Ngige has faulted the protests by the NLC stating there were no grounds for it.
