In this off season, a few days ago I stumbled on a replay of the 1992 Euro finals where Denmark beat Germany to the Cup having participated in the tournament by default.

Their winning goal, the only goal of the match would not have stood today as it was clearly hand assisted.

For the neutrals VAR will have robbed them of that fairy tale run.

Too many rules now, infact too many modifications of the existing rules

Deliberate play is when a player has control of the ball with the possibility to pass to a teammate, intercept possession or make a clearance.

How can you have control of a ball and try to intercept possession at the same time. Can we really say Fabinho was ever in control of that ball against Madrid??

Just say any touch( deliberate or not) by the defending player makes the attacking player onside.
