HOW TO SUBMIT FORM A With the scarcity and unstable rate of foreign currency in Nigeria presently, the most suitable option for a student might be Form A. At the moment, 1 USD is above N700, which is outrageous. Hence, I will be taking you on the easy process of accessing foreign exchange at the Central Bank of Nigeria or interbank rate. Note: the guideline below is a key to submitting your Form A form electronically – in the comfort of your home. How easy is that? How do I obtain foreign exchange at the interbank rate? Don't worry, it is simple, and I will take you through it. Step 1 Visit www.tradesystem.gov.ng Step 2 Click on GO TO PORTAL Step 3 Select Individual (as a student) Step 4 Enter your 11-digit Bank Verification Number (BVN) and click continue Step 5 Your BVN-registered email address will welcome a mail that contains a one-time password (OTP). Enter this password and click CONTINUE Step 6 Create a password, verify your email and activate your account. Step 7 Go to Form A and click on CREATE. Note: under Shortcut to Common Transaction Purposes, you should select Education Fee and Education Services, for Type of Services. Step 8 Fill out other sections of the form, which are illustrative. Attach documents such as your passport data page, letter of acceptance, school invoice, etc. Step 9 Submit the form and await your debit notification and payment confirmation from your proposed tertiary institution.
