For a woman getting too much attention and compliments has made majority of them entitled, Mannerless, proud , egotistical, mean , arrogant, self absorbed, narcissistic, unappreciative, attention seeking , dramatic, rude, unintelligent since everyone treats them like an angel who just fell from the sky.

Now imagine a guy get exactly the same amount of attention and admiration a lady gets , please sincerely what do you think he will end up like? Guess the character he will most likely have?

Men shy away from attention. Most men anyways

The effect of unlimited attention on some men can be visualized by having a look at the stereotypical jocks and chads Hollywood tends to display in their High School dramas.

It prevents a men from searching for higher purpose since he gets all he wants on a platter of gold (attention, women and money (attention is monitized through social media))

I’m talking about it Nigeria bro, having girls run out of their house just to see your face? What do you think that would do to the character of a Nigerian man?

Male attention is more of greed light. It's not like the girl would approach you and begin to woo or nag you to date her, she might just be acting friendly around you, initiate gists, request a lift from you if you stay in the same neighborhood or work place...etc, but you're still the one who's going to do the wooing.

What this means is that allowing such attention get into your head as a guy would be foolishness cos it's going to cost you. The more you follow up on green lights you receive from girls the more you spend, cos you're the man in the relationship.
