I’m a dependant .
I’m having issue with IHS.
My wife paid $918 for IHS after we get done with that we moved to my application and it’s asking me to $612…. I know I’m expected to pay $918 as my wife.
I’ve since restarted the application over again 5 times since last night double checking the course end and start date several times… it keeps telling me to pay $612….
Do anybody have idea of what might be wrong?
Start date is : 22-05-2023
End date is : 31-05- 2024

1.Pls when counting 28days for visa application, is it 28days or 28 working days?. Cuz on gov.uk site I saw 28 consecutive days and when meaning some mean weekends not included.

2. My pof read starts from April 27, my question is from wat date to wat date can I print my statement of account?

3. Which date is advisable to submit my visa application?is it on the 28th day that the POF mature??

Submit your documents + your marriage certificate.
It's not compulsory to change your name to your husband's after marriage and the UKVI understands that as It's normal in the UK.

What UKVI needs to know is that your marriage is genuine. You can prove this with your marriage certificate, pictures, proof of you living together since you got married (bills, GP letters, Govt letters e.t.c.), joint account & joint investments with both your names and any other docs that can prove that your marriage is real.

No but they'd need to be assessed by a doctor at the test centre. The cost is usually lower than for an adult.

1. 28 calendar days. This includes weekends.
2. May 25. If the 1st day of your count was 27th April, your 28th day will be 24th of May so you can print from the 25th of May.
3. Better to submit form the 29th or 30th day to avoid count errors. If you submit on the 28th day, it means that you've held your funds for only 27 days before submitting and that has a high chance of a refusal except the ECO requests for an updated statement to see that the monaley was and still is in your account.

If you have joint accounts or individual accounts showing same address for you, upload them.
Also your driving licences, NIN card or voters' card showing same address for both of you count as evidence.
Any letters from your doctor, workplace, children's school (addressed to both of you - names and address) will also help.
Include tenancy agreement(s) with both your names or property documents with same.
They just want to be sure that it's not an arranged marriage solely for immigration reasons.

Please go ahead and pay what the IHS calculator shows you. It might be a glitch in the system.

If the IHS is short and your visa is approved you will get another email with a link to pay the difference

Most mutual funds accounts are investment accounts and although they are allowed you have to ensure you have access to the funds for your study

If you decide to proceed with this account try to get a bank letter in addition to your statement confirming that please.

But to my greatest surprise it was refused, reason again was the school told UKVI that they are not sponsoring me and no CAS to be given. When I sent the mail to the school,they replied me that when UKVI contacted them if I can still join Jan that their response was no but can I can come in for September if my AR was successful and also that as at when UKVI requested for CAS l, the school said it was too early to issue CAS for September intake... I am just not happy with what I am facing and don't know way forward.

So sorry about your situation. I'll suggest you apply to another school . Two or more schools against the January 2024 intake.
