I will take any politician campaigning against APC serious if they come out with their full chest and say they will reduce all the taxes and duties that Buhari increase if they become President. Let Atiku and Peter Obi come out and say that if Buhari remove the fuel subsidy before 2023, they will put it back if they get there. If they cannot say this, then it means they know that what he's doing is necessary. These are the questions they should ask them during their Arise interview. "Mr Peter Obi, will you bring back the fuel subsidy if Buhari remove it before handing over in 2023? Mr Atiku Abubakar, will you reduce taxes and excise duties if you become President?" I dare both of them to answer yes to that question. |
