Increase VAT to 10%?

They want to continue milking the masses instead of expanding the tax net as Tinubu proposed.

The truth is that Nigeria is structured for self destruction from its inception mostly from 1960 Independence.

From the First Republic to this Fourth Republic, the sign of imminent danger of self destruct keeps reoccurring. Military have used that as an excuse to topple the democracy severally thereby worsening the trend.

Then Buhari with his cabinets of ineptitude have buried the country.

Buhari, Lawan, Emefiele has caused a lot of destruction to this country in their respective offices. that Will take decades to fix only if we have consistent good leaders that have the country's interest at heart. I would have included Tanko but he has resigned though he contributed his own destruction of this country.

Getting it wrong beyond 2023 means sending Nigeria to abyss.

Did anyone read number 22?

They want a tax of 3% flat rate for someone earning 30,000 and someone earning 100 billion.

In the developed countries, the one who earns MORE, PAYS MORE.

But here in Nigeria, these crazy politicians want the percentage to be the same.

See how insincere they are.

They didn't say much about their own allowances

34. Cut down cost of governance
35. Reduce unnecessary Presidential foreign trips
35. Reduce salary and wages of senators and Representatives and stop the constitution allowance, they have been using it for personal gains

No where it is suggested that Buhari's jumbo pay and those of his deputy, reps, senators etc should by reduced by 50% and that refineries should be fixed to stop importing of petrol. All of them are not serious.

If you are jobless, go and find work. Nairaland is not your office. Nothing positive can come out from that useless breathing mannequin hiding inside the Rock. Tinubu helped him to find a job, the idiot expected Tinubu to do the job for him without giving him(Tinubu) the chance, while the useless idiot caged himself with his fellow useless Almajaris calling themselves useless cabal. If this is how Tinubu is running Lagos, will everybody including Peter Obituary be running to Lagos? OLoshi Oloriburuku somebody

34. Reduce the cost of governance which includes but not limited to perks such as allowances, pensions, estacodes etc and anybody above the retirement age shouldn't be allowed to contest or offered a government appointment.

35. The constitution must be reviewed from time to time and must reflect the opinions of the people and not just the voice of selected few.

Let's see where the real charity starts from.

ah ah, shey u saw the damning report on the excesses of CBN and u re still saying u "Believe" CBN under that idiot has been on d necks of deposit lenders, rather than doing their job as a regulator, Emefiele doesn't know what being a regulator is, he's more of a politician and an appendage of the federal government's ministry of finance rather than being independent and critical of measures that would put d naira in a difficult situations, Emefiele has run this country to dirt, him and d zainab that has is weakened and discouraged and is working on auto pilot is who u think can handle the country's finance, if care is not taken if Nigeria can't handle their shit, then we would go and hire world class companies and auditors to manage our economy

Nice but i didnt see any call for the adjustment of heavy allowances by political office holders especially governors and lawmakers instead they are quick to tax an unemployed citizen 100.

1. Sack all civil servants above 50 years

2. Impose 3% flat tax on every Nigerian earning 30k

3. Force all unemployed people and farmers to pay a compulsory #100 monthly taxes

4. Reduce the social intervention program from 570 billion to 200 billion.

But, they didn't advise FG:

1. To sack all elected politicians and appointees above 50 years

2. Reduce salaries of all elected politicians and appointees by 50%

3. Reduce National Assembly statutory allocation

4. Reduce the cost of governance

APC policy has always been about taking more from the poor. Only fools will vote APC to rescue Nigeria from APC
