Bible interpretation must be contextual. In worship, you cannot remove the cultural essence of the people which in no way opposes holiness. This was one of the missionary errors committed by the Whites and caused more harm than good. Now we are adding to the confusion. Not every aspect of life including worship is spelt out in the Bible. In Jesus Christ, the glory for all that is done already belongs to Jesus Christ in His Kingdom, there is no ascribing of anything necessary. He didn't ask you to give Him glory for good reason. Jesus Christ warned you against your traditional rituals which He said render your worship of Him meaningless - Matthew 15 vs 1 - 14 & Mark 7 vs 1 - 13. He informed you in John 5 vs 41 - 45 that He does not want praise from you or from any human meaning the kind of worship He desires from you does not include your praise sessions, hand clapping, raising etc., - all of that you do in vain. God spells out that which honors Him in scripture and He calls on men to obey Him, the same has been the case from the beginning.

What Jesus Christ requires of all of His followers is obedience to His commandments and teachings - John 14 vs 15 - 20 - same mandate given by God to all those who love Him.
