Never give the scriptures your own meaning that's the beginning of heresy. This is one of the reason I mentioned that you want to be too Jesus in this whole discussion.

When Bible referred to two masters, there was nowhere Jesus referred to Old and New testament, you gave it a meaning which Jesus never said. He referred to God and money. To have even suggested that this meant the two testaments is heresy as you are even saying there are two different God involved.

Do you know more than Jesus who quoted from the Old testament from the beginning of his ministry and to the end on earth? Some were replaced, some He emphasized more on them and also dwelled on God's word from the old

You're not talking to a normal person, just off mic and go your way. Quiet advice for you.

The western countries that you keep demonizing are responsible for the education that you have now (which your brethren, book haram, are fighting against). They are responsible for the tech advancements spread all over the globe today.

It's only thanks to them that you are communicating to me in English language and using a phone. But you think they are telling lies against Islam when they report the cases of violence by Islam. What a muffled, self-deluded, self-deceitful perspective!

Did the Western media misreport the following:

1) The barbaric lynching of a Christian girl, Deborah, in the Sokoto, by Moslem mob https://www.nairaland.com/7132197/deborah-samuel-sokoto-mob-killed/5

2) non-religious man burnt to death by Moslem mob https://www.nairaland.com/7161433/mob-kills-vigilante-blasphemy-abuja

3) killing of prostitute girl by Moslem mob who came to patronise her because they found Qur'an in her room https://www.nairaland.com/7177215/lagos-prostitute-hannah-saliu-burnt

I can go on and on. But you can wallow in your utopia of a saintly Islam.

Islam has been associated with violence since it's incipience... Book haram, Isis, Al Qaeda, and "moderate" Moslems all have that demonic DNA of violence in them.

The religion spread by violence, thrived by violence, and is only being sustained by violence. This is why the most islamic regions of the world are the most unpeaceful.

That's the truth. Deal with it.

I have spoken already. You are a media schooled attacker of Islam. Again, your islamaphobic tendencies is a chronic one. When you talk of knowledge, it emanated from Islamic world. The number numerals where technology originated from has its origin from Arabic numerals in conjunction with ancient Greek.

Every region has its violent style. Deborah's killing is more of culture than religion. In Sokoto state Islam is not a religion but culture. Go to Enugu, owerri or Imo and shout Nnamdi kanu is a terrorist and no to Biafra and see whether Deborah's treatment will not be met on you. General Alkali was killed by christains and his corpse thrown inside a pond. The pond was however discovered to be a graveyard for many people killed by christains at that spot. Zamani Lekwot will not be forgotten. Go to India where cow is a sacred animal and kill one for funeral ceremony and see if Deborah's treatment is not a good one compare to how you will be handled.

A CAN president had his private jet filled with foreign cash and ammunition in South Africa, I don't know whether he operates a secret barracks in Nigeria.

Nobody demonize western education but western neo-colonialism is not our option. Nobody is more civilized than a Muslim.

The contribution to technology from Muslim world today is too immense to be ignored.

Do we even have another religion outside Islam in Nigeria because all I can see is business centres. Don't open my mouth please.

You know too little of what you are typing. The assertion that "knowledge emanated from the Islamic world" is not only ridiculous, it is lugubrious!

"...arabic numerals in conjunction with the ancient Greek" How is this sane?

The ancient Greek enlightenment began with philosophers like Thales, Aneximander, Pythagoras, Zeno, around 600/700BCE. That's over 1000 years before your religion.

Now, ancient Greek thought is LITERALLY Western thought. The same West you demonize suddenly collaborated with Islam in the past? You are being monumentally incoherent here...

The middle age of Western thought dominated by the thoughts of Plato (his reportage of Socrates) and Aristotle colored the thoughts of early Christians and, indeed, what we know today as Western thought. USA was built on this. These thoughts were what produced the most notable modern scholars and scientists of this world. Nothing Islamic.

Every region has its violent style. Deborah's killing is more of culture than religion. In Sokoto state Islam is not a religion but culture. From "every Christian has its violent style" to "Sokoto state Islam is cultural."

Again, own your words! Those who killed Deborah in Sokoto, lynched and burnt that man at Abuja, killed and burnt Hannah Saliu in Lagos are all Moslems. They killed their victims because of their religion, Islam. THEY DID THAT SOLELY BECAUSE ISLAM INFLUENCED THEM TO DO SO. Nothing in African culture influences anyone to kill another human being for Allah or mohammad!

When Atiku condemned Deborah's killing on twitter, the Moslem elite and masses threatened him and forced him to delete it. That tells you the convictions of your religion.

Only your religion has the highest number of terrorists, terrorist groups, unpeaceful nations, illiteracy, child marriage, religious killings. No Religion measures any close to you at all. You know that!

As per your reference to Nnamdi Kanu and his followers, these guys don't even claim to be Christians. They are fighting for Biafra, not for Jesus or God. It's plainly unrelated to religion. But you guys are so guilty that you'll try to force a narrative against Christians where there is none!

A CAN president had his private jet filled with foreign cash and ammunition in South Africa, I don't know whether he operates a secret barracks in Nigeria.

Again, a forced narrative. Well, how many people have been lynched to death for blasphemy by Christians?

How many Christians slaughter people shouting Allah Akbar?

How many Christians have rendered the bulk of their population illiterate, disgustingly subjected the bulk of their young girl children to early marriage?

How many Christians would justify the lynching of another person for "blasphemy?"

All these are synonymous to Islam. You literally find these realities in Islam dominated areas. It so clearly goes with being Islam!

Nobody demonize western education but western neo-colonialism is not our option. Nobody is more civilized than a Muslim.

The contribution to technology from Muslim world today is too immense to be ignored.

Your religion has the highest number of illiterates in the world. 43 percent of Moslems are illiterates (
Verify: https://m.economictimes.com/news/politics-and-nation/at-nearly-43-muslims-have-highest-percentage-of-illiterates-census/articleshow/53949959.cms)

Even if you don't want to verify that, use Nigeria as a case study. The Moslem North has an illiteracy rate of around 71 percent. Yet, you contribute to world tech development grin grin

You better be grateful for Western education. Isn't that what you call it? Be grateful!

Do we even have another religion outside Islam in Nigeria because all I can see is business centres. Don't open my mouth please.

Feel free to open your mouth. These "business centers" are responsible for the best private universities in the country, the most peaceful states in the country, the most educationally advanced states, the best and most articulate brains in the country.

All your religion contributes to humanity is terrorism, poverty, barbarism, child marriage, women subjection, and what have you.

Let it sink!

1. Like I earlier stated, read Bible in its wholeness and not just take a side to dwell on. What does Matthew 11:29 then mean. Please, before you reply me also check the meaning of imitate.

2. To have even suggested a half view of what Jesus expect from us, are you also saying the Disciples who directly learnt from Christ got it wrong? While only you had the right view of Jesus' teaching.

3. Please, let's stop all these religiosity and begin to focus on just the Bible and not just one sided view of the Bible
1. I completely agree that the message is to be considered as a whole and in context. undecided
28 “Come to me all of you who are tired from the heavy burden you have been forced to carry. I will give you rest.
29 Accept my teaching. Learn from me. I am gentle and humble in spirit. And you will be able to get some rest.
30 Yes, the teaching that I ask you to accept is easy. The load I give you to carry is light.” - Matthew 11 vs 28 - 30
And here's what I mean. The same Jesus Christ who said that to you, also taught the following
24 “Whoever hears these teachings of mine and obeys them is like a wise man who built his house on rock.
25 It rained hard, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house. But it did not fall because it was built on rock.
26 “Whoever hears these teachings of mine and does not obey them is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
27 It rained hard, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house. And it fell with a loud crash.” - Matthew 7 vs 24 - 27
....
31 So Jesus said to the Jews who believed in him, “If you continue to accept and obey my teaching, you are really my followers.
32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
33 They answered, “We are Abraham’s descendants. And we have never been slaves. So why do you say that we will be free?” - John 8 vs 31 - 33
...
10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The things I have told you don’t come from me. The Father lives in me, and he is doing his own work.
11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or believe because of the miracles I have done.
12 “I can assure you that whoever believes in me will do the same things I have done. And they will do even greater things than I have done, because I am going to the Father.
13 And if you ask for anything in my name, I will do it for you. Then the Father’s glory will be shown through the Son.
14 If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it.
15If you love me, you will do what I command.
16 I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper[a] to be with you forever.
17 The Helper is the Spirit of truth. The people of the world cannot accept him, because they don’t see him or know him. But you know him. He lives with you, and he will be in you.
18 “I will not leave you all alone like orphans. I will come back to you.
19 In a very short time the people in the world will not see me anymore. But you will see me. You will live because I live.
20 On that day you will know that I am in the Father. You will know that you are in me and I am in you.
21 Those who really love me are the ones who not only know my commands but also obey them. My Father will love such people, and I will love them. I will make myself known to them.” - John 14 vs 10 - 17
...

5 “I am the vine, and you are the branches. If you stay joined to me, and I to you, you will produce plenty of fruit. But separated from me you won’t be able to do anything.
6 If you don’t stay joined to me, you will be like a branch that has been thrown out and has dried up. All the dead branches like that are gathered up, thrown into the fire and burned.
7 Stay joined together with me, and follow my teachings. If you do this, you can ask for anything you want, and it will be given to you.
8 Show that you are my followers by producing much fruit. This will bring honor[c] to my Father.
9 “I have loved you as the Father has loved me. Now continue in my love.
10 I have obeyed my Father’s commands, and he continues to love me. In the same way, if you obey my commands, I will continue to love you.
11 I have told you these things so that you can have the true happiness that I have. I want you to be completely happy.
12 This is what I command you: Love each other as I have loved you.
13 The greatest love people can show is to die for their friends.
14 You are my friends if you do what I tell you to do.
15 I no longer call you servants, because servants don’t know what their master is doing. But now I call you friends, because I have told you everything that my Father told me. - John 15 vs 9 - 15
Now, with all of the information above, when in Matthew 11 vs 28 - 30 Jesus Christ said "Learn from me", did He mean that you should do exactly what He did, or did He instead, as a Master, instruct you, His servant, to learn His teachings and commandments from Him and in fact obey them all? undecided

2. The disciples could not have imitated Jesus Christ during His lifetime, because Jesus Christ lived His life in continuous submission to God's Old Covenant and Law of Moses, whereas, He called His disciples to live instead according to a different standard which He taught to them, God's New Covenant and Law in the Kingdom of God. He did make it clear to you and to all that you cannot have one foot in the Old Law and one foot in the New Law, and you definitely cannot serve two masters - Matthew 6 vs 24 undecided

3. Open your eyes and stop doing and begin living as Jesus Christ commands of you, not at your pastors and mogs tell you to instead. undecided

1. I agree with you that we should never apply interpretations as far as scripture is concerned. I believe we should read and take what is written as it is written rather than inject our personal delusions between the lines and then call them an interpretation of scripture. undecided

2a. Well, what is a master? A Master is one whom a servant obeys, is that not so? undecided

Jesus Christ introduced Himself as God's Law(complete with yoke and burden) to all those who are weary and heavy Laden, in Matthew 11 vs 28 - 30, and He commands His followers to trust and obey His every teachings and commandment because those who love Him are those who do so - John 14 vs 20 - 21, declaring that it is only those who love Him that He loves back - John 15 vs 9 - 11. He also proclaimed in Matthew 23 vs 8 - 10 that He alone is master over all those who belong to Him, and He also is God's New agreement which was promised to the people through the prophets - Matthew 26 vs 28 - 30. undecided

In the Old Covenant, God commanded the people of Israel to trust and obey Him and Him alone, meaning the Law was the Master which they served - Leviticus 18:4 - 5, among others. He decreed that they serve Him alone as their God and Master. However, in Jesus Christ, Jesus decrees that His followers serve Him alone as Master over them. And according to Jesus Christ, you cannot serve two Masters in the Kingdom of God - Matthew 6 vs 24. And He also warned His followers not to let New Wine and New Wine mix, or attempt to store Old Wine in New Wineskin. ..
16- 17 “When someone sews a patch over a hole in an old coat, they never use a piece of cloth that has not already been shrunk. If they do, the patch will shrink and pull away from the coat. Then the hole will be worse. Also, people never pour new wine into old wineskins. They would break, the wine would spill out, and the wineskins would be ruined. People always put new wine into new wineskins, which won’t break, and the wine stays good.” - Matthew 9 vs 16 - 17
...
21- 22 “When someone sews a patch over a hole in an old coat, they never use a piece of cloth that is not yet shrunk. If they do, the patch will shrink and pull away from the coat. Then the hole will be worse. Also, no one ever pours new wine into old wineskins. The wine would break them, and the wine would be ruined along with the wineskins. You always put new wine into new wineskins.” - Mark 2 vs 21 - 22
...
36 Jesus told them this story: “No one takes cloth off a new coat to cover a hole in an old coat. That would ruin the new coat, and the cloth from the new coat would not be the same as the old cloth.
37 Also, no one ever pours new wine into old wineskins. The new wine would break them. The wine would spill out, and the wineskins would be ruined.
38 You always put new wine into new wineskins.
39 No one who drinks old wine wants new wine. They say, ‘The old wine is just fine.’” - Luke 5 vs 36 vs 39
So clearly, Jesus Christ warned His followers against trusting and obeying other Laws as His servants. Why is it heretical to point this out to those who claim to be followers of Jesus Christ? undecided

2b. As to your claim that Jesus Christ meant only that you cannot serve God and mammon, well, have you actually ever read the verse for yourself or have you up till now allowed others to feed you their special interpretation of what is written instead? undecided
24 “You cannot serve two masters at the same time. You will hate one and love the other, or you will be loyal to one and not care about the other . You cannot serve God and Money at the same time.- Matthew 6 vs 24
...
13 “You cannot serve two masters at the same time. You will hate one master and love the other. Or you will be loyal to one and not care about the other . You cannot serve God and Money at the same time.” - Luke 16 vs 13
Did you notice the period at the end of the first statement in each of the two passages above? The first statement in each clearly states you cannot serve two masters at the same time, while a second statement also asserts, in addition, to the first, that you cannot serve God and money at the same time. undecided

Do you see the difference between the two statements in each passage? And can you see why you are mistaken in thinking it is only God and money that you are not allowed to serve together in the Kingdom of God? Also, see the attached image for more clues. undecided

3. Jesus Christ taught you God's Old teachings in order to explain who He is and the connection that exists between the Old and the New...
44. Jesus said to them, “Remember when I was with you before? I said that everything written about me must happen—everything written in the Law of Moses, the books of the prophets, and the Psalms.”
45 Then Jesus helped the followers understand these Scriptures about him. - Luke 24 - 44 - 45
... but He never taught you to obey them since He already instructed you to obey Him and only Him as His followers. undecided

Focused on personality? I doubt Jesus Christ meant that statement about His personality given the reality disclosed in the Gospels was of a man who was far from gentile and humble to other men. lipsrsealed

Anyways, that statement was a separate one from the one that mentioned your learning from Him. Also pay attention to the language constructs, when reading. undecided
28 “Come to me all of you who are tired from the heavy burden you have been forced to carry. I will give you rest.
29 Accept my teaching . Learn from me . I am gentle and humble in spirit . And you will be able to get some rest .
30 Yes, the teaching that I ask you to accept is easy. The load I give you to carry is light.” - Matthew 11- 28 - 30
He said learn from me, and then He said He is gentle and humble in spirit. If you read with open eyes through the Gospel, you will see that in personality, Jesus Christ wasn't a gentle and humble person at all. He was definitely not gentle with the Pharisees and Teachers of the Law, and He was not humble with anyone since He did not respect or humble himself before men instead His humility was to God and God alone. So, it is wrong to assume there that Jesus Christ meant for you to change your personality in some way, nor was He speaking of His personality. undecided

As for His statement which is in fact that He is gentle and humble in Spirit, I believe Jesus Christ instead said that for a reason different from that which you assume. That Spirit of Jesus Christ is the one you call the Spirit of Truth aka the Holy Spirit, the gentle and humble one who lives inside of(possess) all those who are His followers. undecided

First of all, it is necessary to define terrorism or to know terrorism among non-Muslims. If a non-Muslim commits a terrorist act, it is a crime, but if a Muslim does it, it is terrorism. Double standards should be avoided. Then you can reach the goal of my words.

I am proud of my Islam, i am proud to be a Muslim..Don't let it stop you, and inform others of the falsification of reality and the truth. Praise be to God for the blessing of Islam and the blessings it contains!

grin I see you are at your wits end. You had to degenerate to this irrelevance. Now, READ CAREFULLY.

The bulk of these nations you automatically Christianised are not even Christian nations.

But let's even play along and assume they are Christian nations, anyone with some intelligence knows that NO ONE practices prostitution, theft, or opium addiction in the name of Christianity.

That's unlike Islam, you know. Moslems marry underage kids because that's what Mohammad did. Moslems take the lives of others because that's what their book teaches. Moslems have produced multiple times more terrorists than any institution in the world because the religion thrives via terrorism tagged "jihad."

Those who lynched Deborah, Saliu, and hundreds of others in Northern Nigeria we're LITERALLY following the dictates of your religion, Islam.

The bulk of Moslem elites who defended and are defending the killing of others (in the name of blasphemy) are overwhelming. They are the majority among Moslems. Ask Atiku if you think you know better.

grin I am glad you are now realising the Western media isn't biased against Islam, after all. grin

In fact, this includes the USA, actually. You see. It isn't biased. grin But every single one of these nations are not totally Christians. They have within them atheists and other religions.

Besides, anyone with some sound logic knows that murderers in these countries don't do so in the name of Jesus or God. The murders in these countries have nothing to do with religion. This is proven by the fact that the most peaceful nations in the world are equally Christian. They are:

Denmark (Christian), New Zealand (Christian), Denmark (Christian), Portugal (Christian), Switzerland (Christian), Ireland (Christian), Slovenia (Christian), Czech Republic (Christian), Canada (Christian), Spain (Christian).

Literally, 10 of the top 10 peaceful nations are predominantly Christian. Why is that? Christianity has no terrorism tendency.

Let's check the most unpeaceful nations (2022)

Afghanistan
Yemen
Russia (because of the current conflict)
Syria
South Sudan
Iraq
Somalia
Central African Republic
Sudan
DR Congo

As you can see, literally seven of these countries are predominantly Muslim nations plagued with islamic terrorism. From the Taliban, to Isis, to Al Qaeda. All plagued and troubled by Islam.

The least educated countries in the world and poorest countries in the world mostly feature predominantly Islam countries. There's a reason for that. The religion carries unrest with it.

The most dangerous gangs in the world:

1. Yakuza (not religious)
2 - Agberus (Christian)
3 - Wah Singh (Christian)
4 - Jamaica Boss (Christian)
5 - Primero (Christian)
6. The Aryan Brotherhood (Christian)

How are agberos on Nigerian streets Christians? grin Whah Singh a Chinese gang now automatically Christian? grin Jamaica boss, which one is primero? Aryan Brotherhood which was a racist gang now Christian? grin

I know Islam teaches terrorism. I didn't know it teaches lies too. You just dug up those names from the internet and attached "Christian" to them. Haba!

Now, let me help you. Here is the list of the most violent terror groups in the world according to world data info:

(1) Taliban
(2) Islamic state
(3) boko haram
(4) Al-Shabaab
(5) Maoists
(6) Al-Qaida
(7) Donetsk People's Republic
(cool Abu Sayyaf
(9) Fulani extremists
(10) Janja weëd

If you are realistic, 1,2,3,4,6, and 8 are all Islamic terror groups operated by devoted Moslems. 9 and 10 are founded and operated by Moslems but not fighting for Islam.

Eight of the most violent terror groups in the world are led by Moslems. It's no coincidence!

The largest drug cartels in the world:

1 - Pablo Escobar - Colombia (Christian)
2 - Amadou Carrillo - Colombia (Christian)
3 - Carlos Leder Germain (Christian)
4 - Griselda Blanco - Colombia (Christian)
5 - Joaquín Guzmán - Mexico (Christian)
6 - Rafael Caro - Mexico (Christian)

Then it is said that Islam is the cause of violence and terrorism in the world and they want us to believe that.

Pablo Escobar and those names were drug cartels? grin

First, none of those you mentioned were practicing Christians. None!

They were just men who practiced illegitimate businesses. That was about it!

Who started World War I?
They are not Muslims..
Who started World War II?
They are not Muslims..
Who killed about 20 million aborigines of Australia?
They are not Muslims..
Who threw atomic bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima in Japan?
They are not Muslims..
Who killed more than 100 million red Indians in South America?
They are not Muslims..
Who killed about 50 million red Indians
North America?
They are not Muslims..
Whoever kidnapped more than 180 million Africans as slaves from Africa, 88% of them died and were thrown into the oceans?
They are not Muslims..

Wait,

Here's a list of the most notorious terrorists of our time:

1. Ayman al-Zawahiri
2. Nasir al Wuhayshi
3. Ibrahim al-Asiri
4. Ahmed Abdi Godane
5. Moktar Belmoktar
6. Abu Muhammad al-Julani
7. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi
8. Sirajuddin Haqqani
9. Abubakar Shekau
10. Dokü Umarov

The top nine were PRACTICING MOSLEMS who killed and maimed in the name of Allah following Mohammad's example.

It's the same way the students in Sokoto murdered Deborah in the name of Allah. Many Moslem elites (educated ones) celebrated it. Probably, you did too.

It's the same way those Moslem boys killef and burnt Saliu, a prostitute they came to sleep with just because they found Qur'an in her room. Its the same way many Moslem mob actions have taken place.

A religion that encourages it's adherents to kill and maim others for their god and "prophet" is a terrorist organisation.

The emergence of boko haram, Isis, and tens of other tens of islamic terror groups from Islam is no surprise. They are simply living the teachings of Islam and the terrorist, mohammad.

There's a reason why virtually anything connected to Islam is plagued with poverty and violence.

It's why Moslems are always on the defensive. They know they are barbaric. They know their prophet and their teachings are barbaric. It's why they are always trying to draw Christianity into their filthy dirt by trying to create useless narratives.

Save yourself from the malady and unrest called Islam.

MAI TATSINE, BOKO HARAM AND CAN: THE BITTER TRUTH

“Marwa Maitatsine, was a Christian until his death!!
Back in 1954, there ware series of meetings by the highest body of Christian association in the northern Nigeria, in Jos, which I happened to be the secretary, taking the minutes of that meeting (then, I was an undergraduate student of Christian Theology). Part of the result of that meeting was, to sponsor some people among ‘us’ to go to Arab countries as new Muslim converts, and learn Arabic and Islam. Their mission is to come back to Nigeria as Muslims clerics, use their Islamic knowledge to preach violence, distort original Islamic teachings and if possible cause a riot in the North that will make northern Nigeria a history. Five people were nominated for the job, and sent to Sudan to start their mission. 3 of them refused to come back and execute their plan, but spent the rest of their lives in Sudan as true Muslims. The remaining two; Muhammad Marwa and Birema came back, Marwa was sent to Kano, and Birema was sent to Niamey Niger Republic.”….Pro fessor Dauda Ojobi

Professor Dauda Ojobi, a former secretary of Northern Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), a retired Professor in Benue State University faculty of Law, the 3rd Reverend Father from northern Nigeria, after Paul Gindiri, and Ganaka, The first Nigerian overseer of Baptist Church in Kaduna, and One time commissioner of Justice in Bauchi State.

Mai Tatsine the obsolete version of Boko Haram, which began their reign in late 50’s in Kano and some other parts of Northern Nigeria, their ideologies were similar to that of Boko Haram, they forbade what Islam allowed, and allowed what Islam made haram. They claimed western education is sin, they rejected anything brought by technology, they were popular with saying, wearing a wrist watch is haram, using radios and television is haram e.t.c. (considering the technological advancement of that period). The spiritual leader of Maitatsine movement was Muhammad Marwa a.k.a Mai Tatsine. The Emir of Kano Sanusi, once suspected Maitasine as fake Muslim when he discovered Maitatsine received goods from Vatican Palace. After Sarki Sanusi confirmed his findings, he expelled Maitatsine out of Kano, in early 60’s. Mai Tatsine was later brought back to Kano by Gov. Rimi in 1979. Rimi believed that Maitatsine would help him win his reelection through charm. After the Maitatsine’s death, Shagari, the then President set up the Aniagolu panel to investigate the crises. Prof. Dauda has made his submission in that panel, but when the President, saw the report, he said no, the white paper will not be issued on this report, because it may result to crises, so the white paper was not issued, till date.

Professor Dauda became a Muslim in 1966, after he came back from Rome, where he went to further his studies, in Christian Theology. He is still alive and has become a Muslim preacher for over 40 years. What is quoted above is from the lecture he delivered in Bauchi, 2002.

Ever since, no any Christian scholar or CAN executive denied this statement from Prof. Dauda . Are they waiting for his death before they deny it?
-Security operatives that always claim they want to uproot the Boko Haram mayhem did not investigate in that angle, why?
-What is the relationship between Jerry Gana (CAN chieftain) and Muhammad Yusuf, founder of Bokoharam? The former has bailed the later from police custody several times.
-I see a double standard approach and hypocrisy by the security personnel, in the investigation.
-I began to believe Boko Haram is the creation of some enemies of Islam possibly CAN, it is never a creation of Muslims.
-Remember, Hillary Clinton once said Taliban is their creation, to fight Russians.

There are tens of Islamic terror groups. Them plenty. They all fight for the cause of "Allah." But since we are now posting articles. This one will educate you a bit:

Here is an excerpt from an article by foreignpolicy.com

But does this violent extremism stem from Islam’s sacred texts? Or is it the product of circumstance, which has twisted and contorted Islam’s foundations?

To answer this, it’s worth first drawing the important distinction between Islam as a set of ideas and Muslims as adherents. The socioeconomic, political, and cultural circumstances of Muslims are varied across the globe, but I believe that we can distinguish three different groups of Muslims in the world today based on how they envision and practice their faith.

The first group is the most problematic — the fundamentalists who envision a regime based on sharia, Islamic religious law. They argue for an Islam largely or completely unchanged from its original seventh-century version and take it as a requirement of their faith that they impose it on everyone else. I call them “Medina Muslims,” in that they see the forcible imposition of sharia as their religious duty, following the example of the Prophet Mohammed when he was based in Medina. They exploit their fellow Muslims’ respect for sharia law as a divine code that takes precedence over civil laws. It is only after they have laid this foundation that they are able to persuade their recruits to engage in jihad.

The second group — and the clear majority throughout the Muslim world — consists of Muslims who are loyal to the core creed and worship devoutly but are not inclined to practice violence or even intolerance towards non-Muslims. I call this group “mecca Muslims.” The fundamental problem is that the majority of otherwise peaceful and law-abiding Muslims are unwilling to acknowledge, much less to repudiate, the theological warrant for intolerance and violence embedded in their own religious texts.

More recently, and corresponding with the rise of Islamic terrorism, a third group is emerging within Islam — Muslim reformers or, as I call them, “modifying Muslims” — who promote the separation of religion from politics and other reforms. Although some are apostates, the majority of dissidents are believers, among them clerics who have come to realize that their religion must change if its followers are not to be condemned to an interminable cycle of political violence.

The future of Islam and the world’s relationship with Muslims will be decided by which of the two minority groups — the Medina Muslims and the reformers — wins the support of the meccan majority. That is why focusing on “violent extremism” is to focus on a symptom of a much more profound ideological epidemic that has its root causes in Islamic doctrine.

To understand whether violence is inherent in the doctrine of Islam, it is important to look at the example of the founding father of Islam, Mohammed, and the passages in the Quran and Islamic jurisprudence used to justify the violence we currently see in so many parts of the Muslim world. In Mecca, Mohammed preached to his fellow tribesmen to abandon their gods and accept his. He preached about charity and the conditions of widows and orphans. (This method of proselytizing or persuasion, called dawa in Arabic, remains an important component of Islam to this day. However, during his time in Mecca, Mohammed and his small band of believers had little success in converting others to this new religion. So, a decade after Mohammed first began preaching, he fled to Medina. Over time he cobbled together a militia and began to wage wars.

Anyone seeking support for armed jihad in the name of Allah will find ample support in the passages in the Quran and Hadith that relate to Mohammed’s Medina period. For example, Q4:95 states, “Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home).” Q8:60 advises Muslims “to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know.” Finally, Q9:29 instructs Muslims: “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”

In parting, look around you since you are Nigerian.

Who are those who are inspired by their books to kill other people in defense of their god?

Who are those most likely to burn a prostitute they came to patronise to death just because they found Qur'an with her?

Who are those likely to take the life of another Human being chanting "Allah Akbar"

They do all these for religion. They are devoted Moslems fighting for "allah."

I don't need to go further with you because I can see you repeatedly verbosing around a point.
Once a Muslim commits crime, it is Islam but if the person is a christain, no it is individual thing. We love our religion to our heart to the point that it modify our every day Life, so it is easy for enemy to attack us through that.
What is hard for christain to chant ALLAHU AKBAR while killing or hired mecenaries also as we used to have it in the north during riots.

You dodge pertinent points I raised and I can see you have limited knowledge about Islam. You can see I didn't mention your prophet or can I say your God, JESUS (PBUH) because you people doesn't know him well the way we know him.
Instead of you to recognize the truth through our holy prophet that you people referred to as holy Spirit, you are here following adulterated book to do business called church.

I will finally leave you with this rejoinder if you will read and not just ignore as usual and jump into reply.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PEACE BE ON HIM ) IN THE BIBLE :- BEING A RESPONSE TO THE CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA ( C A N) AND ARCH BISHOP MATTHEW HASSAN KUKAH ON DEBORA SAMUEL'S BLASPHEMOUS AND PREPOSTEROUS UTTERANCES AGAINST ISLAM :-

Let me start this rejoinder by quoting the divine warnings of God as written in the Bible in Psalms 105 verse 15 and first Chronicles 16 verse 22 where God had emphatically said:

" And do not touch my anointed ones, and do not harm (or curse) any of my Prophets ",

and in Second Chronicles 36 verse 16 where the Bible says:

" But they mocked God's Messengers, despised his words and scoffed at his Prophets until the wrath (anger or divine punishment) of the LORD was aroused against his people and there was no remedy (or escaped)"

In spite of the above biblical warnings of God against any person that curses or abuse any divine Prophets and Messengers of God , Deborah Samuel had cast herself into both physical and spiritual destruction by using vulger or abusive language against the most honoured divine and universal Prophet of God in the person of Prophet Muhammad on whom be peace thinking that her chanting of " HOLY GHOST FIRE " could save or protect her from the wrath of God !

How unfortunate and ignorant was she when she kept on repeating this unbiblical formula and at the sametime abusing the noble Prophet of God in her hostel room ?

It is no wonder that the bible says in Hosea 4 verse 6 that:

" For my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge".

I quite believed that both Deborah Samuel , Matthew Hassan Kukah and the whole management of the Christians Association of Nigeria are not aware that the profile or Prophecies of the advent of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be on him) are clearly written in their versions of the Bible in different chapters and verses of both the old and new testaments ,and they were commanded to honour him , help him and believe in him when he comes as written in Surah 7 verses 157-158 and Deuteronomy 18 v 18 , Deuteronomy 18 v 15 and Acts of the Disciples 3 v 21-23.

And in accordance to the book of John 1 verses 19-21 , that Prophet of Deuteronomy 18 verse 18 was mentioned by the Jewish Priests and Levites when they asked John the Baptist the following questions :-

ARE YOU THE CHRIST ?

John answered NO !

They then asked him the Second question saying ,

ARE YOU ELIJAH ?

John answered No !!

And they still asked him the third question

ARE YOU THEN THAT PROPHET ?

And he answered NO !!!

These three questions in respected of the coming of three expected Prophets of God were chronologically responded with Negative answers by John .

And in John 1 verse 25 the Jews asked John that IF YOU ARE NOT THE CHRIST , OR ELIJAH OR THAT PROPHET WHY THEN DO YOU BAPTISED ?

Therefore , in the light of the above statements in John 1 v 19 -21 and John 1 verse 25 , we are challenging the Christians Association of Nigeria and Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah to tell us WHO THAT EXPECTED PROPHET WAS ?

Jesus had already confirmed in Matthew 17 v 10 - 13 and Luke 1 v 17 that John the Baptist came as the representative of Elijah in his spirit .

Who then was that Prophet to come after Jesus Christ ?

In John 16 verses 12-14 of the Bible , Jesus had announced the coming of another Prophet after him with a divine message from God , and that that Prophet will tell the world many things about Jesus and so many other things to come .

The Christians have failed to understand or know that , the person that Jesus was talking about is no other than Prophet Muhammad Peace be on him .

And if they said it was the Holy Spirit , then they should know that it was this Holy Spirit that brought the divine message of the Qur'an to Prophet Muhammad as mentioned also in Revelation 14 v 6-7 of the Bible .

Other biblical references to Prophet Muhammad in the Bible as directly spoken by Jesus can be found in John 14 v 16 , John 14 verse 30 , John 16 v 7-9 , John 14 v 26 , John 15 v 26 .

If actually there was to be another divine messenger from God after Jesus as spoken by him , then that divine Messenger is non other than Prophet Muhammad Peace be on him.

And it was through the teachings of prophet Muhammad that the Muslims know and respect both Jesus , his Mother , Mary and all the biblical Prophets of God like Abraham , Isaacs, Jacob , Moses , Solomon , David etc .

Any any Christian in the capacity of Matthew Hassan Kukah that does not agree with the above mentioned facts , We challenge him for a public debate or one one dialogue at any place of his choice . There are more than a thousand prophecies about Prophet Muhammad Peace be on him in the Bible .

IMPLICATIONS AND PUNISHMENT AGAINST BLASPHEMERS ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE :-

If only the Christians like Deborah Samuel knew that the bible said that cursing or abusing one's parent like Father or Mother is punishable with death she would not have even thought of blaspheming a divine Prophet of God who is accepted , honoured , respected and loved by trillions of the past and present believers in that divine Prophet of God in person of Prophet Muhammad Peace be on him.

In Leviticus 20 v 9 , Exodus 21 verse 17 and Matthew 15 v 4 , the bible said that Whosoever curses his father or Mother , he should be stoned to death by the community .

Now , if cursing or abusing your parents is liable to the punishment of death , what more of cursing or abusing a Prophet of God ?

In Leviticus 24 verses 10- 16 , The Son of an Egyptian whose Mother was an Israelite was commanded by God to be stoned to death publicly by the community and strangers for his sin of blasphemy against God and Moses .

And the victim was publicly executed by stonning .

In first King 21 verses 10- 13 of the Bible , another Man who blasphemed against God and a divine King by cursing them , was commanded to be stoned to death by God , and he was also publicly executed .

Did the management of CAN and Matthew Hassan Kukah not read these in their Bible ?

In Second book of Kings 2 verses 23-25 , God commanded two ferrocious bears from the bushes to killed 42 boys who abused and cursed Prophet Elisha , and they were all killed by these dangerous animals for cursing a Prophet of God .

In Second book of Samuel 16 verses 5- 13 of the Bible , a Man was almost beheaded for cursing Prophet David in his presence and in the presence of David's body guards .

In conclusion , Jesus himself had commanded that any person that kicks against his leadership as a divine king or Prophet should be slaughtered before him as written in Luke 19 v 27 of the Bible.

Also, in Matthew 12 verse 32 , Jesus clearly said that any form of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit of God can never be forgiven in this world and in the hereafter .

And this means that even the blood of Jesus could not wash away such sins through his death on the cross as the Christians believed .

If blasphemy against the Holy Spirit could not be forgiven , what more of blasphemy against the Holy Prophets of God who worked hand in hand with the Holy Spirit as written in 2 Peter 1 v 20-22?

This shows that any blasphemy against the Holy Spirit or Holy Prophet of God is liable to death in this world and eternal punishment in the hereafter as written in Matthew 12 v 32 .
Most importantly , Jesus had also confirmed all the old testaments laws of divine punishments in Matthew 5 v 17-18 of the Bible .

Another biblical warning is in Exodus 22 verse 28 where the Bible says AND YOU SHALL NOT CURSE GOD AND THE RULER (OR PROPHET ) OF YOUR PEOPLE "

In the light of the above mentioned biblical facts , we are advising both the Management of CAN and Matthew Hassan Kukah to warn or guide their followers to respect the divine Prophets of God and seek for more knowledge of the truth lest they risk their lives as written in Hosea 4 verse 6 of the Bible .

Listen , we don’t have pastors in my church and we don’t listen or follow whatever anyone on the pulpit tells us because we’re all equal in the church , we call ourselves brothers and sisters, there’s nobody superior ! We have our way of worshiping and we don’t ever take orders or command from anybody , we follow what Christ told us to and we don’t have to wait for any man to tell us to do otherwise, you know what ? I will be glad if we can have a public debate on this sometime soon , if you are anywhere around Lake Charles , Louisiana, we can set up a debate or we can do it online as well I would love to listen to what you got to say and your view about clapping and drumming In churches
You claim you follow what Jesus Christ says so why are you having obvious problems following what He said in regards to praising Him - John 5 vs 41 - 45? undecided

How will you not have pastor in your church? That's unscriptural!
There is absolutely nothing scriptural about your pastors and your churches. undecided

The Church that belongs to Jesus Christ only convenes at His command, not at the order of your pastors and mogs. He alone shepherds His flock and He alone leads and is Master over His flock. undecided

Amplified Bible Matthew 6:24

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord].

New International Version Matthew 6:24
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

It is wrong to equate this passage as Old Testament versus New Testament.

It is equally wrong to equate this passage as Old Covenant versus New Covenant.

It is equally wrong to equate this passage as Old Commandments versus New Commandments.

It is equally wrong to equate it as God's commandments versus Jesus commandments.

You have come again. I asked you never to engage me again because you always end up ignoring scriptural evidences that floor your delusions. See:

Jeremiah 3:15
[15]And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Acts 20:28
[28]Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Ephesians 4:11-12

Safyqueen:

I don't need to go further with you because I can see you repeatedly verbosing around a point.
Once a Muslim commits crime, it is Islam but if the person is a christain, no it is individual thing. We love our religion to our heart to the point that it modify our every day Life, so it is easy for enemy to attack us through that.
What is hard for christain to chant ALLAHU AKBAR while killing or hired mecenaries also as we used to have it in the north during riots.

Let's make it simple: Has there been any Christian religious killing in Nigeria? Has any Christian mob killed and set someone ablaze for blasphemy?

CHRISTianity is totally patterned after Christ. One hundred percent!

Christ taught suffering in the hands of sinners. Preaching to them. Forgiving them when they sin. And preaching to them constantly.

He never fought back. And He taught Christians never to fight back. He taught leaving vengeance to God.

Your book teaches killing people who wrong you or insult your prophet. Your book teaches taking judgement into your hands. Beheading. Striking fear into the enemy's heart. Etc. Right?

Let me know if I am wrong!

You dodge pertinent points I raised and I can see you have limited knowledge about Islam. You can see I didn't mention your prophet or can I say your God, JESUS (PBUH) because you people doesn't know him well the way we know him.
Instead of you to recognize the truth through our holy prophet that you people referred to as holy Spirit, you are here following adulterated book to do business called church.

grin You are claiming the victim card now. You obviously didn't read the article I sent too.

Mohammad was not a prophet. He was a demon-posessed imposter. He created militias to fight for the god, "allah," killing, maiming those who withstood him.

The proof of Mohammad's works today are the majority of his followers today in Nigeria and round the world. These, too, would kill for their prophet and "god."

Again, Mohammad is not and was not a prophet. No sincere Christian would see Mohammad as a prophet. None!

Mohammad claimed Jesus Christ is a mere prophet. And that He is not the son of God. Mohammad claimed Jesus did not die and resurrect. These are alien to Bible teachings:

1 John 4:1-3,15
[1]Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
[2]Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
[3]And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
[15]Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

Any Spirit that doesn't confess that Jesus is the Christ and the Son of God is not of God. See what Jesus Himself says:

Matthew 16:16-17
[16]And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
[17]And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

These were written long before Mohammad came into the scene and before the demonic book, Quran, surfaced from no where.

Deborah didn't blaspheme. She didn't curse Mohammad.. she did not.

Even if she did, she was a Christian. And Mohammad is nonentity to the Christian faith. He was an imposter who lured y'all from God.

Even if you found her guilty, the thing to do was to kill her. You see what I am saying. Your religion thrives in violence! It is hungry to kill and maim it's enemies. How is this an act of peace? ? Religion of peace killing those who express their reservations against it?? Think!

You kill other humans for your god? How is that different from boko haram, and the likes?

And in accordance to the book of John 1 verses 19-21 , that Prophet of Deuteronomy 18 verse 18 was mentioned by the Jewish Priests and Levites when they asked John the Baptist the following questions :-

Jesus had already confirmed in Matthew 17 v 10 - 13 and Luke 1 v 17 that John the Baptist came as the representative of Elijah in his spirit .

Who then was that Prophet to come after Jesus Christ ?

I will tell you who that prophet was.

John 5:39
[39]Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Luke 24:27
[27]And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Luke 24:44
[44]And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

As you can see, long before Mohammad and his book, Jesus already said the scriptures (the writings of Moses and a the prophet) spoke of him.

The Islamic fellows who said this are obviously ignorant (that's why they are Moslems). It's written in black and white.

I understand you have been copying and pasting. You have no solid understanding of these things yourself. You can find answer to your questions if you will open your heart.

In John 16 verses 12-14 of the Bible , Jesus had announced the coming of another Prophet after him with a divine message from God , and that that Prophet will tell the world many things about Jesus and so many other things to come .

And if they said it was the Holy Spirit , then they should know that it was this Holy Spirit that brought the divine message of the Qur'an to Prophet Muhammad as mentioned also in Revelation 14 v 6-7 of the Bible .

Here is it:

John 14:16-17
[16]And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
[17]Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

There is a reason why Moslems have the highest illiteracy rate in the world. There's that lack of diligence with reading.

It clearly states here that it is Holy Spirit. Mohammad wasn't a spirit. That Bible verse clearly states that the Holy Spirit will dwell inside the believer in Christ.

Neither Mohammad nor the Denon that brought the "message" to him dwells in anybody. This is written in black and white. But you (like your teachers and leaders) are too dogmatic and veiled-up to see...

John 14:30
[30]Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Here, Jesus refers to the devil coming for Him. He is the prince (ruler) of this world. This prophesies to his trial and crucifixion.

See how the phrase is used here:

John 16:11
[11]Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

As I have shown, the prophets of old prophesied of Jesus Christ. That's what Jesus Christ Himself said. But here are your elders trying to force Mohammad into the picture...

There is a reason why Christianity is called CHRISTianity. It is built and established on the teachings of Christ! On his interpretations of the scriptures.

Jesus CLEARLY differed from the practices of Moses and the prophets of old. See some parts of his saying here:

Matthew 5:43-48
[43]Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
[44]But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
[45]That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
[46]For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
[47]And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
[48]Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

In an occasion, His disciples asked Him to act like Elijah and kill those who disobeyed his doctrine. He said:

Luke 9:55-56
[55]But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
[56]For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

Once, the Pharisees tried to get him to agree with the law of Moses to stone a woman caught in adultery to death. See what he said. Read:

John 8:5-7
[5]Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
[6]This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
[7]So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

Christians are followers of Jesus. Not followers of Moses or David or Elijah. That is why Christians aren't barbaric. That is why a Christian would not kill for his God.

Jesus Christ, God in Human flesh, came to show us how to live. We forgive those who speak against us or blaspheme against God. It's not our job to punish them. We can only preach!

[

In conclusion , Jesus himself had commanded that any person that kicks against his leadership as a divine king or Prophet should be slaughtered before him as written in Luke 19 v 27 of the Bible.

grin
Illiteracy gone on rampage. This was a story Jesus was telling. Read:

Luke 19:12-15,17-27
[12]He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
[13]And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
[14]But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
[15]And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
[17]And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
[18]And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
[19]And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.
[20]And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
[21]For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.
[22]And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
[23]Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
[24]And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.
[25](And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)
[26]For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
[27]But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

Make Una dey read abeg.

The Holy Spirit is God Himself. He is the Spirit of God Himself. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit means to reject the Holy Spirit. Here is why it cant be forgiven:

Romans 8:9
[9]But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There's nothing called blasphemy against holy prophets. Prophets are mere men.

The Mohammad you deify was a man. He wasn't even a prophet of God. He was a demon-posessed imposter!

That is why he would inspire you to kill other human beings for him and try to defend it.

Imagine an educated human being blood-thirsty to kill another human being because they don't agree with your dogma on Mohammad ??

Think na! Killing those who don't agree with you for some "god."

And you're blaming USA and Christians for boko haram. The joke is on you lots!

15 Then I will give you new rulers who will be faithful to me. They will lead you with knowledge and understanding.
16 In those days there will be many of you in the land.” This message is from the Lord. “At that time people will never again say, ‘I remember the days when we had the Box of the Lord’s Agreement.’ They will not even think about the Holy Box anymore. They will not even remember or miss it. They will never make another Holy Box.
17 At that time the city of Jerusalem will be called the ‘Lord’s Throne.’ All nations will come together in the city of Jerusalem to give honor to the name of the Lord. They will not follow their stubborn, evil hearts anymore.
18 In those days the family of Judah will join the family of Israel. They will come together from a land in the north to the land I gave to their ancestors.” - Jeremiah 3 vs 10 - 18
As you are informed in verse 17, what is prophesied is to take place when Jerusalem becomes known as the Lord's Throne, which is not even reality even to this day, 2000 years after Jesus Christ, meaning the above statement does not apply you or anyone at this point in time. undecided

2. As for what is written in the first part of Acts 20 vs 28, well according to Jesus Christ, those who belong to His flock are paid workers - John 10 vs , all of them, expected to feed His Sheep - give real food and drink to the least of the sheep - and Care for His flock - Home, Clothe, care for the sick, and visit those in prison. undecided
31 “The Son of Man will come again with divine greatness, and all his angels will come with him. He will sit as king on his great and glorious throne.
32 All the people of the world will be gathered before him. Then he will separate everyone into two groups. It will be like a shepherd separating his sheep from his goats.
33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 “Then the king will say to the godly people on his right, ‘Come, my Father has great blessings for you. The kingdom he promised is now yours. It has been prepared for you since the world was made.
35 It is yours because when I was hungry, you gave me food to eat. When I was thirsty, you gave me something to drink. When I had no place to stay, you welcomed me into your home.
36 When I was without clothes, you gave me something to wear. When I was sick, you cared for me. When I was in prison, you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the godly people will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and give you food? When did we see you thirsty and give you something to drink?
38 When did we see you with no place to stay and welcome you into our home? When did we see you without clothes and give you something to wear?
39 When did we see you sick or in prison and care for you?’
40 “Then the king will answer, ‘The truth is, anything you did for any of my people here,[b] you also did for me.’ - Matthew 25 vs 31 - 40
This is all ofcourse far from what you and your so-called shepherds do in your churches. undecided

3. As for what is declared in Ephesians 4:11-12, that claim directly violates Jesus Christ who instead said that where it concerns His followers, they are all equals and He alone is Teacher, Master, Shepherd, Leader/Authority, Helper etc., to all who belong in His flock - Matthew 23 vs 8 - 10 & Matthew 6 vs 24 & Matthew 20 vs 24 - 28 & John 10 vs 7 - 16 and John 14 vs 20 - 25 ..... undecided

This reasoning is delusional. And senseless I am sorry, but that the fact. Nothing was transmitted to him in any language he will understand. He was only giving account of what he saw and wasn't interpreting anything. Does that part of the scripture look like teaching to you? That was John recounting what he saw and the words he heard, wise up. Coming here confusing and leading the faint astray with baseless assumption.

Whenever you read scripture, context is King!

Sure! Context is king. The context of the quoted scripture OBVIOUSLY doesn't disprove that God was promising to give pastors (or "rulers" like your version prefers) who would teach the people. What does that sound like?

It's written in black and white!

“‘And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding." (ESV)

"And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will guide you with knowledge and understanding." (NLT)

“Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding." (NASB)

"And I will give you [spiritual] shepherds after My own heart [in the final time], who will feed you with knowledge and understanding and judgment." (AMP)

These shepherds (pastors or rulers) were Han being who would teach others. What do pastors in churches today do?

As you are informed in verse 17, what is prophesied is to take place when Jerusalem becomes known as the Lord's Throne, which is not even reality even to this day, 2000 years after Jesus Christ, meaning the above statement does not apply you or anyone at this point in time. undecided

The usage of Jerusalem there is OBVIOUSLY prophetic of the New Testament (Read its usage in Hebrews 12:22). Verse 17 builds from verse 16 which is expressing that the presence of God would no longer be confined to the ark of covenant or the "Box of the Lord’s Agreement" like your Bible puts it.

Verse 17 speaks about God inhabiting the covenant to Jerusalem and Judah. All nations flowing into it is a messianic expression. The gentile nations and the whole world find salvation in Christ who is the result of the promises to the Jews. It's that simple!

Of what use are teachers when Jesus Christ Himself is physically and bodily present?

2. This is all ofcourse far from what you and your so-called shepherds do in your churches. undecided

You should now take your advice on context. Let's read:

Acts 20:26-31
[26]Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
[27]For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
[28]Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
[29]For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
[30]Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
[31]Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

Contextually, does it seem like it is speaking about sharing food and clothes? See that the verse 28 builds on verses 26 and 27. See that verses 29 to 31 follow from it.

What is the subject matter here? Food and clothes or teaching and preaching the counsel of God?

Relax!

3. As for what is declared in Ephesians 4:11-12, that claim directly violates Jesus Christ who instead said that where it concerns His followers, they are all equals and He alone is Teacher, Master, Shepherd, Leader/Authority, Helper etc., to all who belong in His flock - Matthew 23 vs 8 - 10 & Matthew 6 vs 24 & Matthew 20 vs 24 - 28 & John 10 vs 7 - 16 and John 14 vs 20 - 25 ..... undecided

Lol. The Bible violates the Bible? Aren't you confused? Isn't that so obvious to you?

The Apostles who taught this were closer to the sayings of Jesus than you or your tribe can ever be? In fact, the little words attributed to Jesus in Matt, mark, luke, and John was largely their influence. But here you are confusing yourself.

See what Jesus said:

Matthew 28:18-20
[18]And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
[19]Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
[20]Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Jesus sent His Apostles as teachers (pastors) sent to disciple people. They passed on that tradition on and on... This is the responsibility pastors today have...

The Apostles were the teachers, shepherds of the early church (Acts 2:42, Acts 5:42).

The same culture is what was passed on for years and years like we saw in Acts 20:28.

It's simple, if you would open up to free yourself from your confusion.

1. I can't seem to make heads or tales of what you are saying at all. undecided

The entire context speaks of what is to happen when Jerusalem becomes known as the "Throne of God" meaning it is when Jerusalem becomes known as the Throne of God that God will set these shepherds over His people. Until then, God will not set Shepherds over His people. So, since Jerusalem has yet to be known as the "Throne of God", it means God has not set shepherds over His people. So those your pastors and mogs, who call themselves shepherds over you are instead the false teachers and false prophets God warned you against. undecided

2. Oh, so, you think that law given by Jesus Christ only applied when Jesus Christ was on earth? Is that your assumption now? undecided

3. If you had paid careful attention to my previous response, you would have noticed how I focused only on what stated in the first part of what is Acts 20 vs 28, and not the context or the entire verse even, this since I am not here to hold brief for what anyone else does but instead to focus on that which Jesus Christ taught His followers to do in His name. undecided

This is all, of course, far from what you and your so-called shepherds do in your churches.
4. Well, either the apostle who wrote that lied or Jesus Christ is a liar. I will go with Jesus Christ not being a liar in this. As as clearly indicated, Jesus Christ made it abundantly clear to His followers that none of them is to set themselves above the others in any way or form in His Name. undecided

5. As for the command given by Jesus Christ to His disciples. If you would open your eyes to that command, you would realize that Jesus Christ never sent His followers out as teachers to those who already belong to Him - the saved. Instead, what He did was send them to teach His Law and Truth to the unbelievers, those in the world, those who are not a part of the Kingdom of God. Those are the only ones Jesus Christ sent His followers out to teach the Gospel to and to baptize, this since all those who are already born-again are under Him and He alone is Teacher to them. undecided

So when you all sit in your churches under these men you call your Teachers pretending you belong to the Kingdom of God, you sin against God, who declared even from Jeremiah 31 vs 31 - 34 that He alone is Teacher to all those who belong to Him. undecided

You aren't ready to read others views and learn. But you're quick to attack any unfamiliar view on nairaland. That's toxic enough.

Anyways, verse 15 is clear. It's a prophecy of the New Testament. "I will give you pastors according to my heart."

He didn't say, "I will do this when Jerusalem becomes my throne." Verse 16 will happen has a result of verse 15. Then verse 17 follows...

Do t twist the Bible. Flow with it!

How do you focus on a verse and read your mind into that verse without considering its context?

You lied that that portion meant they were sharing food and clothes. But I exposed your lies with contextual reading. Now, this??

4. Well, either the apostle who wrote that lied or Jesus Christ is a liar. I will go with Jesus Christ not being a liar in this. The same Jesus selected twelve men to be his Apostles out of the multitude of followers He had (Luke 6:13). What was the separation for?

He literally put them ahead of His other thousands of followers... The same Jesus you speak of?

5. As for the command given by Jesus Christ to His disciples. Exactly. grin So, he sent them to make disciples of these unbelievers. Right? So, at what point do these people stop learning from them?

So when you all sit in your churches under these men you call your Teachers pretending you belong to the Kingdom of God, you sin against God, who declared even from Jeremiah 31 vs 31 - 34 that He alone is Teacher to all those who belong to Him. undecided

If Jeremiah 31:34 says God alone is our teacher (as you probably interpret it), then you are challenging Jesus' statement instructing His disciples to go and teach ALL NATIONS. All nations include the house of Israel and Judah which Jeremiah 31 addresses. Right?

Wouldn't that also contradict the same Jeremiah 3:15? How come he will give them teachers when the same Jeremiah (as you assume) says there will be no need to teach anyone?

Well, Jeremiah 31:33-34 was simply addressing the coming of God's Spirit into the hearts of those who believe. God will dwell in them. They will know God in their Spirits.

However, they would still need to learn the scriptures. Jesus taught His apostles the scriptures. He sent them to make students of others...

Knowing God in your Spirit doesn't automatically mean your mind has grasped the truths of His word and instructions.

Open your eyes when you read what is written to you in scripture, particularly that declared by God Himself. Whenever you read scripture, context is King! undecided
11 The Lord said to me, “Israel was not faithful to me, but she had a better excuse than unfaithful Judah.
12 Jeremiah, look toward the north and speak this message: “‘Come back, you faithless people of Israel.’ This message is from the Lord. ‘I will stop frowning at you. I am full of mercy.’ The Lord says, ‘I will not be angry with you forever.
13 But you must recognize your sin. You turned against the Lord your God. That is your sin. You worshiped the idols of other nations. You worshiped them under every green tree. You did not obey me.’” This message is from the Lord.
14 The Lord says, “You people are unfaithful, but come back to me because I am your master. I will take one person from every city and two people from every family and bring you to Zion.
15 Then I will give you new rulers who will be faithful to me. They will lead you with knowledge and understanding.

18 In those days the family of Judah will join the family of Israel. They will come together from a land in the north to the land I gave to their ancestors.” - Jeremiah 3 vs 10 - 18
In that context, God clearly tells you that what He will do, He will do in verse 15 will not take place until the time when Jerusalem will be called the 'Lord's Throne'. In addition, God also revealed that at that time that the families of Judah and Israel would be joined, but that also hasn't taken place even to this day. God informed you that He will only give these shepherds at the time when Jerusalem will be known as God's Throne. And since that time has not happened, what that means is your pastors and mogs are not those God promised, instead they are the false teachers and false prophets that Jesus Christ told you to beware you. undecided

What part of the above is twisted when it is clearly what is written in scripture to you and everyone else who has eyes to see? undecided
